itachi uchiha from naruto. hes fast, strong, has the sharingan so he can copy your moves, and also has the mangekyo to use strong attacks like the tsukuyomi, where he controls everything. he can basically do anything and can also use ninjutsu and genjutsu to confuse the enemy.

Goku can't cuz he needs air to breath.

OAV tenchi Masaki however.....

He can destroy a planet, dodge any attack smaller than the distance between Earth and jupiter, fly out of a black hole. survive in space without aid. ... not exactly sure WHAT exactly happened when he got cut in half with a lighthawk wing sword... but he kinda shrugged it off.

uhh, he can breach all the dimensions.. basically destroy all of reality and still exist. has a harem of a planet destroying space pirate, 1st and second generation Jurai battleships...several really powerful spaceships.

and the three goddesses... which include Washu who can do alot of things with super science, Tsunami ...who seems to mainly just save tenchi if needed. and Tokimi, who created and maintains the universe.

So basically if you exist Tenchi can kick your ass.

Goku from Dragon Ball Z/GT defines the meaning of the strongest.....He can blow any planet to Valhalla. Even God will be frightened....LOL

Kill him....and there is the Dragon Ball to revive him....Then he will learn why he died, and trained even harder to strengthen himself to withstand any attack like sharingan/mankengou sharingan or even death note....He will probably blow the planet to bits and then teleport to that dimension where he fought Majin Buu last form....! So, bye-bye sharingan or death note or any other power out there....

No matter what you do, you just can't kill him....He has died so many times already and yet he still comes back...

He can fight with his eyes closed.....with lots of combat experience....,
it should be easy....

That guy defines today's strong guys....

Everyone has mentioned the whole, "Goku can destroy an entire planet!", which is true but bigdave brought up a good point, which is easily defeated. While Goku is not immune to the vacuum of space he is able to move instantaneously, via instantaneous transmission. This means that from anywhere in the galaxy he can travel to a handful of planets, Yardrat, Namek and if you include GT, any of the planets he traveled to there. All he needs is a Ki signature, unless he can see the location.

So at the moment that he destroys the planet he just needs to use his I.T. and away he goes to the safety of an atmosphere. Goku is as strong as he is because Akira Toriyama was the first to make a character that strong, other mangaka and anime studio’s stay away from such characters because of Dragonball Z, besides the occasional homage or parody.

Oh and he is the strongest hero in Dragonball Z, the only characters that are stronger (at the end of Dragonball Z) are the fusion characters, but considering the two most powerful fusion characters are half Goku… they are void.

Woho long time since I posted here... anyway I'm still disappointed no one came with any better argument other than Goku can come back to life nor said anything why my points are wrong ohh well guess it's my own fault for thinking there might be a discussion out of this.

Anyway realized another "underdog" that can kill of any character while unlike Goku and the rest of the overpowered super omega ultra transforming people is still just psychically a bit over your average person. Kinda amazing when you think about it there's an anime character that's not that strong but can kill off Goku and even more amazing Goku won't ever come back to life either if killed by him. *drumroll* Nanaya/Tohno Shiki from Tsukihime man can't believe I forgot about him. For those who don't know him, he can basically see death/point of origin in the form of lines and points. If he cut along the lines you'll basically just get cut to pieces no matter how invulnerable you are even if you can survive a nuke without a scratch or survive on the sun it doesn't matter because you'll still end up in pieces also this skill requires no strength on his side as long as he cuts along the line no matter what he uses to cut or cuts it'll be like a hot knife through butter. Also it's impossible to heal or reattach any limb that's been cut. And that's just the lines the points are more different it's the point of existence which means if he stabs you there you don't die you cease to exists, doesn't matter how many life you got or anything you just cease to exist. How do someone come back to life if they don't exist? Something else that's wonderful about this is that this point can be anywhere on ones body and unless you have eyes like he does you can't see them meaning you can't defend against it since you have no idea where it is, he could seemingly try and stab you in the leg or ones hand and all of a sudden you just cease to exist. Of course there's lots of drawbacks like the simple face he's just a normal human that happens to be able to see these lines and points.

What about ALLUCARD... if u haven't seen HELLSING - that would be kind of weird - u dunno have idea about the meaning of power... reasons??? simple,,, he never dies... u cant bit him, u can try as hard as u want, but he simply never dies... and not only that, he really has the killer style...
