japan is very warm at the moment, it was rainy a few days ago, but its coming up to summer.
ive seen plenty of cute girls, but ive been too shy to talk to them.
plenty of anime dvds too, but they;re really expensive. like 7000yen for a 2 episode dvd. _________________ [img:567:138:151453bb6b]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/wahagifsda.gif[/img:151453bb6b]

i havent actually heard that one, but what i do is check on sites like HLJ.com
and see if i can find the same item at relatively the same price.
some stores sell things cheaper than advertised on the internet, upcoming figure magazines etc, some places sell them really high.
it all depends on where u shop.
as for the cons thing, that sounds about rightm like something that would happen. _________________ [img:567:138:151453bb6b]http://www.anime-source.com/upload/uploadFiles/wahagifsda.gif[/img:151453bb6b]

Aussie uses dollar too... but I'm not sure what the exchange rate is at the moment, between the three countires. I think 1 ausie dollar is about 70-80 Japanese yen.

LG> yeh i changed about 900 aussie dollars.
at the time the conversion was about 9.5 yen to the dollar.
i wanted to kick some ass because the last time i was online, i checked the currency and it was 102 yen to the dollar highest its even been.
i do know that the american dollar is worth a LOT more.
kimmie> right now im in nagoya, but staying 30 mins away from the city in a place called hongo.
however, 2moro morning i move to my city that ill be working in.

yeah, I never understood that. It's like one of us (well, those of us in NA) paying $50 bucks to watch two episodes of the Simpsons or Futurama.

ouch... it was 114 yen to each 1USD a few weeks ago... which was good for me cause that's when my Mikuru figure shipped... I got it for much cheaper than the original reciept said.
you know I was going to ask this... have you gone to any Maid Cafes yet? Another friend of mine went to one in Tokyo where the girls pretended to have been sent from the future to protect the earth. Quite hilarious indeed.
Send us photos!!! Nagaoka, eh? ::goes to do some research:: Hope they have internet... for your sake. _________________

oh man... I'm so jealous. They're not doing the same program as you though, they were just school kids? I forget what you're doing... are you there to teach english or are you there for college? or is it some other totally random job I forgot you telling me about?

haha, good, you should be safe if terrorists attack. I'm not coming until August 2008. So you better stay there until then.. or go back around that time. I think you're heading up toward the Northeast, aren't you? Not like by Hokkaido, but kinda directly North from Tokyo, off the west a little... if I'm thinking of the right place.
We'll hang out next year, haha. I'd go up now to visit you, but I gotta pool all my vacation time.
