Ani> No wonder they always get perverts on the trains. Those Jap girls are just a vulnerable target for these guys, cramming themselves together in such a small place...
Where's Nagaoka anyway? *Googles* Oooooh, the northwest! Is it near Aomori? I think you can catch a festival there on August, the Aomori fesival with the floats and stuff. But you're always on the go right? Oh well~
xeno> Oh so you're going to go there on August 2008? Wow that's... a long time from now. I'll be in Japan first week of April hopefully. Although I don't get to pick which university I will go to, but it's most probably either Tokyo, Nagoya or Osaka.
Tokyo's too expensive for a student like me, I prefer somewhere relatively quiet but urban enough. Fukuoka's too far south, though it looks quiet and nice~

yeah, it's a long ways away. Applications start this August, then interviews will be next March. That's why you should go to Japan now, do your program, but apply for JET in the meantime. When you're done with your study programs, you'll be done in time to do JET with me. ^___^

yeah, I heard Tokyo is pricey, but everywhere else is fine. I live in one of the most expensive cities in the USA, so I'm already used to it. And I don't know if Fukuoka is considered "South"... I dunno, Japan is funny shaped. It's the biggest city on Kyushu Island... 1.4 million people. heehee, it'll be 1,400,001 when I arrive
be sure to come visit me!!
and I'm going to say this in every post I make on the subject, but you, Ani and I all gotta go to maid cafe in Tokyo together _________________ GTX: Great Teacher Xeno... my daily blog about teaching in an elementary and middle school in Japan (see right-menu)

boy its hot here....
how's the weather outside?
tell me more about your interactions with your students. You must have people of all ages coming to you. I'm assuming since they're paying to come for lessons that they actually WANT to learn English, as opposed to the school kids who are FORCED to learn. _________________ GTX: Great Teacher Xeno... my daily blog about teaching in an elementary and middle school in Japan (see right-menu)
