From the developers of Baten Kaitos (tri-Crescendo is the developer) comes the magical (and musical) game of Eternal Sonata, or Trusty Bell in the Japanese versions.

One of the most well-known piano composers, Frederic Chopin, died on October 17, 1949 at age 39 due to tuberculosis (this is a real fact, if you didn't know). The story plot takes place three hours before the time of his death. Then and there, Chopin dreams of a magical world that is populated with people who have incurable diseases, but also have magical powers.

As corny as the plot sounds, it looks pretty good when you've actually seen the trailer or the actual game.

The battle system seems pretty fun and is quite unique. It centers around musical elements and signature (character unique) attacks. Each character and enemy is individually given just a few seconds to either cast a spell, rack up some combos with your sword, cane, or whatever the heck it is your going to be swinging with, or just go into defend mode.

Hirano Aya has a role as Polka, another one of the number of main characters in the game.
