so slow....

how comes it is soooooo slow when i go to the internet...all the other comp in my house is very fast on the internet..it takes me like 2min to load up the homepage...im usin vista and internet 7...is there any setting i can change to get my internet spped faster??

any number of reasons can make ur internet slow on just one comp..

RAM
Virtural RAM
Processer

yeah...i need more info, before i can help ya, tell me ur ram, V Ram and processer speed. then tell me the other computers.

oh yeah, and having a full hard drive will slow it down, as well as viruses

RAM=1014 MB
Virtual RAM=dont no where to look for...soz
Processer= Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz 2.79 GHz

my hard drive has 320 GB and now i hav 101 GB left

and i hav scanned my computer...no viruses.

i will check other computer later.

Few additional things that is needed before I can give more advise:

1) Your type of connection (ADSL?Cable?)
2) Your router model.
3) How you connect to the router (Cabled?Wireless?)
