Everything was working fine before.. then I installed some DVD ecoding crap

AutoGordianKnot.1.60

and now all my codecs are screwed up.

I get yellow lines running around in the background and the colour is sort of off... I'm not sure if it DivX or XviD thats screwing up but I tried uninstalling all the codecs and reinstalling them.. but it doesn't work.

I'm wondering how do you go about wiping the codecs and making it work properly without having to format the computer?

thanks.

check your com for spyware or malware, maybe those came with the codec as well (if the codec is not from a reliable source)
