I'm in a phase right now that's I didn't even think is possible for me to be in. Anybody in A-S ever gets the feeling that you don't really care to watch anime more? I mean, there are days when I'm sitting on the comp, having nothing to do but the thought of watching anime just bore me, but when I start watching I want to watch more.
I remember back at 2006-2007 I use to spend 2-3 hrs. everyday dedicate myself to anime alone (heck even more) and I always get excited when starting a new anime but not anymore. It took me forever to try 3 El Cazador de la Bruja episodes and 2 True Tears but I easily get bore w/ them.
Could my interest in anime is over? |

You just answered your own question. Seriously, even sex would turned out to be boring after taking so much. |

Yeah, sounds like a serious case of burnout to me. I went through a similar period a couple of years ago, when I was just watching too much of the stuff. The best thing to do is to take a break from anime, develop an interest in something else. Then hopefully, when you come back, your enthusiasm will be renewed. Just try not to burn yourself out on it again.
Recently I've been trying to only watch the really good series', so I've been dropping lesser series' right left and centre. I'm much happier for it. |

it happens to all of us from time-to-time. Sometimes you're in an anime-mood sometimes you're not. I usually reserve my nights off for anime, but when the time comes and I glare at my backlog, I just think "ugh, not tonight."
Of course, there have been times where I've "forced" myself to continue on, and more often than not, my mood changes once I fire up the file/DVD.
My biggest problem is I'm a screencap addict... takes me about twice as long to watch a single episode since I have to go back and forth to capture the images I crave. So.... much.... cuteness!!! _________________

I think a whole lot of us experience that...
I am actually experiencing that so called melancholy right now...
i'm just not in the mood...
i drop a whole lot of series that way.... trying to watch anime when I'm really not in the mood for any... if my mood changes for the better in that particular anime then I guess tis worth looking into more... if not... then drop... _________________
