BitComet Upgrade

Its really wierd that i cant upgrade my bitcomet. I am stuck at 0.70 for quite some time now. everytime i try to upgrade it, all torrents stops and it wont download even if i wait for 2-3 days just leaving it. I have checked all ports to make sure they are forwarded. Hmm what else i guess thats it... any idea whats wrong?

BitComet 0.8x are all buggy and bloated, i can't count the number of BSODs i had. Many trackers now ban BC so my advice is dump it and choose another BT client like µTorrent.

if u use something like utorrent then how do you increase the half open tcp thing?
