Is there a way that an iso can be created from just files on your hard drive, rather than creating the iso from a cd?
If you don't understand what I mean then ask plz.

Yes, you are able to, but I do not know whether there are software that you can use to immediately convert to ISO. If you are using Nero, you can only convert to .nrg format instead of .iso....
The way is to choose Image Recorder as the burner drive instead of your hardware drive.
For me, what I did is to convert the file to .nrg first, then mount it using daemon tools, and then convert it to ISO using DVD Decrypter. Other than that, I do not know other software that can do it directly to ISO....
Maybe others may assist you on the software that can do that directly, but you may want to try my method and see whether it works.
