Pretty decent for an unfinished work so far.
Err, i ono how tough your teacher is, but the animation should use some more various frames to create motion and stuff. You'll probably be working on that.
Check this out, maybe it wil help o.0 (made by one of my favorite deviant art artists):

I think it was used for a portfolio or something. Anyway, there's a cool little short animation portion in the second half 0.o
Actually, upon viewing it again, it might not be that helpful... but hey, who knows =_=; _________________ GG |

Oh I got a good grade for this one.
I'm not really in the animation major so it's not necessary to make a frame by frame animation.
I'm in the Interactive Media Design major (web design and interface etc.), and in this class we we're taught how to use Adobe After Effects.
I think it is only in this class where I'm actually allowed to do something like this as the rest of the other classes are more about coding and layouts (boooooooooooriiiing j/k ).
So when the teacher told us to "do ANYTHING involving Adobe After Effect" I thought I'd do something like this.
My teacher did like what she saw especially because I'm probably the only one at school who does these kinds of things (plus one of like 5 people who play Super Robot Wars).
Her only complaint was
"why did the last part turn into a still picture in the end?"
The Naruto/DBZ fans in my class immediately explained to her about how still pictures are used in anime occasionally and I told her that was what I was trying to do (and yes the last part is a complete rip-off of Dyzenguar's Dynamic Kill in SRW).
One of my classmates actually made a live action short film with DBZ/Naruto fight scenes! He used After Effects for the fireballs and Kamehamehas (plus.... Star Wars LightSabers?) and it was a joy to watch.
Another one used Death Note music on a short film involving his younger brother doing crazy things like jay walking, peeing at a girls bathroom, and stealing gummy worms at the grocery. He merely used After Effects for the title and credits sequences _________________ "please let me work"

The classes where I could do these are fun.
The classes where I couldn't.... well I don't hate them.
It's a fun major if you're really willing to do all the hard work.
Oh, I didn't expect that the "Coming 2008" would give you that impression
It's a teaser for something else really.... _________________ "please let me work"
