Laptop Graphics Card

Just wondering about new laptops. I've noticed that those that have Intel processors come with Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, and those that have AMD have 128MB (Shared) NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150. Which one of these are better? (Of course they are both crap since most graphics card that comes with computers are.)

No, most graphics cards that come with cheap laptops are. You hafta pay more for the better ones. Of course, they won't be compared to the desktop lines.

It will depend on your taste or preference for those two cards. The Geforce Go 6150 is slightly better in games compared to the Intel GMA 950. Here's a lil' benchmark for you to get an idea: site. It would also depend on the CPU's power as these types of cards rely heavily on them.

Lastly, if you're not a gamer and would mostly use the laptop for applications, Intel GMA 950 would be the better choice as this card is more efficient in power consumption compared to the others. I'd say the most in the current line-ups.
