The skin color is nice. It makes the character look real.
The only problem is the feet, esp. the left part, it kinda looks awkward.
Overall, it is still a nice one only a minor error.
Good job there!!!

The rest of the pic is awsome and the skin tones came out very nice. Reminds me of some of the cover art on various fantasy/sci-fi novels. How many dif colors did u use ~about? |
well i used about 12 shades for the skintone, and constant painting with them. no smearing. i use the smudge tool only when i'm feeling lazy to blend colors when my brush strokes are showing. every time i go to a different color i make a new layer. it makes things very smooth after 12 layers (the skin). i do this for every little part, and then i flatten those layers into one after i am satisfied with one part and i name it. and then i go around with the eraser tool and clean it up. since i only use about 20% opacity most of the time i sometimes need to use a flat tone at 100% underneath it to make it pop, and look solid.
but for the other stuff.....lesseeeee....
for the boots there are about 10 shades including buckles, for the green pocket alone there were 6. for her gun there were about 20 shades (god it sucked to paint, i had never done metal b4, at leat 6 of those shades were by experiment.) |

I was talkin' about the fact that she's wearing effectively a thong, skimpy bra , boots, and a face mask. _________________ The pen is mightier than the sword

| ah. and to that, i didn't put her in those kind of clothes because it looked cool. it seemed practical. 'cause in a harsh world you think it would be hard to find/keep ahold of many things, even clothes. and what you did have could be makeshift of many different things. |

| does nobody notice what i said in my last post here? or just not bringining it up?? or maybe i just missed it ... that part looks realllly weird i tell u..i mean i know it would be used in certain poses..but .. when shes standing like that.. it doesnt seem to fit quite right? |
yes.. yes i think we read it. No. it does not look weird. That area isn't a thin cloth or something to give u any weird thoughts about well.. w/e ur thinking. Keep it clean man....
I also wanted to comment that while messing with 10-15 colors on dif layers i did notice a nice blending. It's a lil annoying here and there but it seems to work nicely. ~High five to neko~ ^ ^;; _________________ [IMG:508:164:6c8e3c695e]http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p252/inqArk/Original_sig.jpg[/img:6c8e3c695e] |
