I think episode 8 was a boring filler ep that didn't do anything for the show and wasn't even funny, very disappointing. Btw darkhunger's guess was right.
The next ep is going to be the website thing. |

Yup the anime is way off from the manga at the moment, and now they've gone back to the website idol thing.
All this jumping around and reading the Midori manga at the same time is confusing me.

Truthfully speaking, for the anime I only enjoyed Episode 7 aka Ayase's moment of glory. I'm not really anticipating Midori releases, just picking it up when it comes along (unless it features Ayase).
But then, that's a Ayase fanboy talking |

| Well, I think Ep 8 was a great "what-if"... And it was a good character development episode. Actually I like this episode more than the last few episodes which I found more enjoyable in manga format. |

Actually all they are doing is joining many of the manga's repetitive ideas and main themes... That doesn't break the flow of things simply because the concept so far is quite similar to a sitcom and the order doesn't matter. |

i believe the real plot (at least in the anime) will involve finding a way to return midori to her original body. if that is the case, then the rest of the series will b pretty episodic, which isnt too bad imo _________________

I saw episode 9 pretty funny episode. The anime seems to be jumping all over the manga. Telling things in a different order and mixing things up. I don’t mind at all I still think it is damn funny. I don’t think it hurts the show at all that they don’t follow the manga very closely. I just realized something the second half of episode 9 was the newest release by SnoopyCool. So that could mean because everything is mixed up. That could mean that the whole changing places episode is just a chapter that has not been released.
Note: Does anyone know how long he animation is going to run?? _________________ Need help adding an image to your signature? Click here then. |

It is a short running series, so 12 or 13 episodes.
Yes, they are mixing the chronology of the manga up. Reasons being that they only had up to certain chapters of Vol 6 when they started anime production and the manga had no certain ending as of then. The manga was just a series of short arcs with no tight plot.
Episode 9 at least got back to the MnH feel and was funny to boot. Ep 8 IMO was a disappointment. |

I really hope they don't produce a "hanging-in-the-air" ending cause that would really piss me off. |

I dunno if you guys watched episode 10 yet.
It was alright, but it leads to episode 11.. and maybe episode 12 or 13 will be when Seiji kisses the 'sleeping beauty' ?
But anyways, if you guys haven't already seen it, someone from Japan has actually made the Midori no Hibi website seen in the anime/manga.
Yes there is even that rock paper sissors stripping game on there.. lol

things like this don't surprise me anymore when its from the japanese =) _________________

Eh, Smeggy, they already have the Midori handpuppet. Someone posted a pic of it (Specky or Kaiser, hmm can't remember?) long ago in the forums here. It was a maid uniform Midori. |
