Oh No! Files Deleted!!

I was doing some disk cleaning when I accidently deleted one very important folder. It's weird because when I usually delete some very large file, a warning message will pop up saying that "the file is too big for the recycle bin" and will ask me to delete directly without going through the recycle bin...however, this time it just delete the file by itself. Does any one know how to recover it? Please help me!

what file did you delete? stuff important to your system usually will refuse to be deleted unless you take extreme measures. and even if they somehow did get deleted, you can probably get them back by using a system repair option that you'll probably find on your OS install disc.

i tried doing a system restore too but apparently my computer didn't make a restore point at all. any other suggestions?

You'd be amazed what you can find by Googling "recover deleted files" : )

If you thought clearing the recycle bin removes files from your pc, wrong!
