Anime-Source Synopsis & Reviews
First few episodes are already out and haven't seen any discussion on this anime yet. I've watched the first 2 episodes and i'm intrigued by it so far, anybody else enjoying it? |

Episode 2 on the way for me, but I can't say I'm not intrigued by the concept. You have to admit the theme is rather old, though; It has been beaten to death by Pokemon.
What really interests me is how the characters develop and interact. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

Not too sure how you can relate it to Pokemon. Sure they can summon their insects or "mushi," but Pokemon is way too immature, where as in Mushi-Uta, there is better character to character relationship and interaction, and a much better plot line than Pokemon. C'mon, was the Jhoto region covered by some god, then revealed once Ash defeated the Elite Four? Psh...please.. _________________ [img:675:150:a14dfef006]http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa37/razorbubble/Untitled-2.jpg[/img:a14dfef006] |

Done a little bit of watching up till episode 4, and I'll have to say this isn't really an anime for kids who liken it to Pokemon. For those who do not believe, take a look at the series and see it for yourselves.
The fact that there hasn't been much posting in this thread underlines the point that this anime might really be under-rated in some ways, but I do believe that it's better than the average anime. The OP and ED are pretty good too, so do check it out. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

I've watched up to episode 7, and I'm liking it a lot right now . My only complain is that it can be a little slow sometimes. If you're expecting fights every episode though, I think you're looking at the wrong place
Too bad we have to wait till September 13 for the next episode, apparently.
Edit: Or not, since ep 8 is out today xD |

Wonder why no one else seems to be talking about this series right now. Currently at least I think it is above average for a series like this one, where character interaction and development take a larger portion of the time rather than the fights.
When the fights come, though, they come hard, fast and explosive, depending on where they fight. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

| great anime. definitely not for kids. im going to guess that the ending is gonna be tragic coz of its dark story. it is really interesting and worth watching. |

The shit hits the fan in this series several times.
First, there are times where you would not expect some characters to die so fast, yet they do. Instead of focusing on more action and fighting scenes, there is a decent amount of character development as well in the relationships with Daisuke, Rina and Shiika.
This is what makes MushiUta a cut above animes supposedly based on action and battles. I'm guessing there will be a tragic end, somehow. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

| Possibly one of the most underrated anime of all time. I read the synopsis and didn't bother with it for months. They need a new synopsis because it really doesn't do the show justice. I can't wait for the second season. |
