Favorite Anime Antagonist Survey - Who will you pick?

Thought it would be fitting to start a thread on the subject now that we have a survey on this topic. This could be a good place to talk about yours and others' choices and you might even come across a name you hadn't considered before and change your top 5.

As for me I haven't made a final decision yet (would be very interested to see what people say in this thread). But if I were to choose at this very moment I would pick these characters (in no particular order):

- Kazundo Gouda (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, 2nd Gig)
- Sonozaki Shion (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni)
- Yakushiji Tenzen (Basilisk)
- Lucy (Elfen Lied) - Though not 100% sure if she counts according to the survey's definition
- ??? Thinking maybe Lust (FMA), Asakura Ryouko (MoHS), or Anemone (Eureka 7). Not sure at all.

Lucy? She's nowhere near a antagonist, she's just a depressed psychotic superhuman. don't forget the main character's kouta.

Hmmm no antagonists really pop into my head at the moment but one that did was The Count of Monte Cristo, or Edmond Dantes, from Gankutsuou. His passion for revenge was very intense and I couldn't stop watching that anime to see how he carried out his plan.

Are emotions considered antagonists? Such as love, care, kindness.. etc.
I've seen many protagonists succumb to emotions as their worst enemy... which basically means that they are the protagonist and the antagonist at the same time.
Putting those comments aside, I'd go with:
Fate Testarossa - Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha/A's/StrikerS (She's just too cute >_>).
Gilgamesh - Fate/Stay Night (Obnoxious, pretty-boy... what's not to like?).
Edomae Luna - Seto no Hanayome (Lols-antagonist?).
Mao - Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch (He's psycho enough that I want to cosplay as him =o).
Louise de la Valliere - Zero no Tsukaima (I'd be her servant @.@).
It's actually really tough to think about them :\.

Easy, this isn't even a contest. Dio Brando from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. JJBA is like DBZ, on acid with less filler, no actual anime series (it's just a 12 episode OVA, but it counts for being animated). Dio Brando is a 19 century psychopathic who aquired vampire powers, in which he sucks blood throw his fingertips. His ultimate goal is to kill all the Joestar family, and suck their blood. He first battles Jonathan Joestar, who was his adoptive brother, and he ends up making Johnny Joestar's life a living hell, as he poisons his father, steals the first kiss from Jonathan's girlfriend, and burns his dog Danny to death. Eventually, Dio and Jonathon have an epic battle where they both die at the bottom of the ocean. 100 years later, more Joestars are born, and we enter Series 3: Jotaro Kujo, the great-great-great Grandson of Jonathan Joestar. Dio Brando's severed head re-attached to Jonathan's body, and Dio returns to shore, and develops a "Stand" (a Stand is a physical manifestation of a persons psychic energy). When Dio returned to land, he made various members of the Joestar family develop Stands, including Jotaro's mother, who is actually dying because of this. Jotaro, and crew travel to Egypt to find Dio, and dispose of him. Because Dio is a vampire, and has a stand, he has stand powers, his being the power to stop time, in which Jotaro also shares. Dio goes GAR, kills many of Jotaro's allies, and various other people. Eventually Dio, and Jotaro battle each other. Dio stops time drops an oil tanker of Jotaro, and beats the living hell out of it. Dio thinks he's won, is frozen, Jotaro had stop time the moment the tanker blew up, and Jotaro uses his stand top destroy Dio's stand. The Sun then rises, and Dio blows up. The most epic death of all time ever.

You might also know Dio for the infamous WRYYYYYYYYY meme.

I'd pick Suitengu from Speed Grapher (like Lucy, I felt for this guy), Gates and the twins from Full Metal Panic 2nd Raid, and some old school choices in Gemma and Tessai from the Ninja Scroll movie.
