Wow, just wow. Bleachtards just make me laugh out loud, plus Ichigo isn't that much of a bad ass that people who aren't intelligent enough to see through the various plotholes; and classify him as an antagonist. Plus, I have the impression that Tite Kubo is a dick. And Haruhi? Oh wow, somebody missed the NAME OF THE SERIES!
Plus Dio Brando is a vampire who can freeze time. A VAMPIRE WHO CAN FREEZE TIME!

Bah, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne has no data yet and I'm too lazy to submit them now, but Fin is one definitely one my favourite villains. I love surprising betrayals. I'd also love to include Zagato or Emeraude from Magic Knight Rayearth but no data either 
Other votes include:
Aizen from Bleach (he's just too cool)
Aion from Chrno Crusade (favourite scene: he comes home from the grocery store, what other villain would do that?)
Chikane from Kannazuki no Miko (at least when she's in villain mode)
But the best villain of them all is...
Lelouch from Code Geass ... he may be the main guy, but he's certainly not a good guy. |

Whoa long time not been here yay another survey
Not that I wanted to vote for her but I dont see why Haruhi cant be an antagonist, even if it called melancoly of haruhi suzumiya the story main character can be Kyon and hahuri is
his biggest problem and oppose him quite often simply by forcing him to do things he dont necessery want to do or she'll destroy their world I dont know for you but a menace to destroy my world is kind of a threat
anyway i dont want to start a debate on this and banning her is probly the only way that she wont be first .... I wonder who actually ... probly orichimaru or sasuke -.- bleach got too many antagonist for everyfan to vote for the same .... Bah we'll see
.... Just curious but how could someone see ichigo as an antagonist ?

4. Koichi Zenigata (Lupin the Third) ... Having wached 2 Lupin movies in a row before voting probly helped this one ^^

L (death note) would be my favorite

Here is why it's impossible for Haruhi to be am antagonist. Being the main character, she can't oppose a threat too herself, or the others around her in a conscience state of mind. She's unknowing of her powers, and if she destroys/remakes the world, she doesn't know that shes doing anything wrong. Aside from abusing Kyon, and Mikuru around like ragdolls, she's not much of an antagonist.

I think I love you for pointing out Lupin the 3rd. Because it is really an awesome anime series.

Hmmm I guess I dont see it in the same way ^^ because the way I saw it Kyon is oblviously the main character. Because hes the hero of this serie, hahuri is only the subject. Even if she dosent know that shes doing anything wrong the fact is that shes still doing it so she pose problem to the main character : Kyon by menacing his existance in itself.
Btw having your name on the title of the anime dont make you the principal character ....
-Neon Genesis Evangelion (here it shinji not the EVA)
-Hellsing ( it alucard not hellsing the main char even if the name here is probly about the organisation)
-Mononoke no Hime ( the main character here is Ashitaka not the «princess»)
Etc.
Meh anyway I guess you could see her as the main character and if shes really an antagonist the problem being not her but her emotions ... but still shes the one creating them so it still her fault .... à
Anyway the survey is over ^^
p.s. : bah by a lack of imagination last pick was Tetsuo ... |

also the antagonist in I"s Pure that was kicked out of school for peeking and tries to kill the girl(protagonist of the anime i forgot the name =P) so basically i forgot all the names of characters of I"s Pure.. =P |
