It hasn't been the first time. Most of the times that I try to post a comment on one of the "News Articles" on the Main page, I don't end up posting, but leads me to a blank page, and my post is not posted. That happens to me too previously and I know what could have happened. Try to omit certain characters that may be strange. I do know that characters like ">", "<" and "~" are not accepted by the comment system. Try to limit some smilies too since some of them use obscure character that may cause the problem.
