Well I went to donate today, and it was a fun experience and quite, meaningful at the same time. It was always one of the things I've wanted to do, but the van that went to my school wasn't around when I was old enough to.
How do you feel about it?
How much do you know about it?
Lol like a girl I met while I was there, thought they stuck a syringe in you and draw out that lil amout 
A freind of mine is absolutely petrified of needles, while another person I was talking to was like 'It's MY blood' T_T

I donated blood once back in high-school. I'm a puny skinny chopstick of a man, and was even skinnier back then. I was really looking forward to it, and I was quite amused watching the bag slowly fill up with my blood... but I was light-headed and dizzy for the next two days as a result. =\
Because of that I haven't gone back to donate more. If I ever actually get my body into shape (or something at least vaguely resembling fitness) I'll definitely consider donating more. Until that day though, I'll just be here trying not to get blown away by strong winds. |

But I really wish to donate and try it at least once. I think I'll enjoy it and I'll feel like something is going out from me, something inside of me has gone and left an empty room xD

heh? really? why?
some --> it really depends on you, whether you get fainty or not. I was fine for the 30mins afterwards... then I got a little woozy afterwards had a lie down, and I was all good again. ^^ My freind was fine all the way ...

i have no idea, they whouldnt tell me, i guess it has something to do with the illness'es in that area,
i do know they wont accept anyones blood who lived in germany during the mad cow crisis...

its always been a thing to do for me.
i have too much blood, so i always thought giving it would be another step up the ladder in my charitable ways.
i was gonna give blood on a regular basis, but everytime i went the red cross office was closed :/
maybe when i get back to australia ill give it one more crack at.

petrified of needles? well most of girls are like that though it isn't that painful. I might donate later once I get rid of this sickness.

They think you might infect them with Nazi-ism through the blood ... okay bad joke.
I'd donate blood but I'm not at the legal age to (whatever that age is I don't know). I'd like to know what bloodtype I am.
And I also have a slight fear of needle ...

Welll same for me, i'm not at the legal age to donate my blood
I'm not really scared of those kind of things 'cause when i was lil i spent nearly all my time at the hospital ^^;
Maybe next year I could if they accept my blood hehe |
