Heck, if you're there on Sunday and my name is called, you'd be able to hear me live and in person doing it~ XD
Ah~~ it needs a one-minute monologue scene... so tempted to do Light from Death Note. _________________ [img:425:100:e0ea21b26c]http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c118/animefanrk2k/CWMashiba.jpg[/img:e0ea21b26c]

ah, it's on Sunday? interesting, I might be able to attend.
I just got CC'ed on an email from the winner of the same contest held at Anime Boston 2007. She said she had an awesome time. Everyone in the studio was great and the service was phenomenal. Sounded like she was treated like a real star.

cherry>> anime/manga city tour of Vancouver??? hmm... not too sure if we could go far with that. Aside from Sakura Media I don't really know any other place to get my anime/manga fix... But yeah, you should head over here sometime...
why can't you just opt to live in the US permanently? _________________

Wow, congrats to your dad. I live near NYC kinda, VT is the next state over but i think NYC is about 6-8 hours away. I have never been there though id love to i really like the cities but they can be pretty dangerous.
I wish i could go to anime conv.
It seems you have already made your way into the states so yay and welcome!
I wish i could give you some advice about NYC but i know nothing sorry >.<
I can tell you that I'm going to school for 3d animation this summer! (pending acceptance >.<) its one of the best schools in the nation, pretty much the only one better is the college run by Nintendo which is close to 100,000 USD per year >.<.
The college im going to is in Florida though so its a bit farther than NYC its called Full sail, i have no idea what you have for options for colleges but if you were able to leave the NYC area maybe look into that there.
They also have a game development program and a bunch of other programs, the school is known for and founded on Music producing but has done very very well with its Animation and game degrees since then.
hehe i sound like a spokes person sorry >.<
hope you enjoy it here and get to meet alot of your friends here on the forums! |

not many stores sell that kind of stuff. You'd have to find a specialty hobby store devoted to that kind of thing. Boston only has one and it's kinda small... not really a chance you'll find anything specific. Your best chance is to check the internet.
Don't worry about missing the con. It was kinda lame. Very small, programming was a mess. I'll be writing my review on it soon. Lots of photos. ^___^
As for the next con... the "convention season" is more or less over. November through February are a dead-zone for conventions. The next con in the Northeastern USA that I can think of would be Anime Boston 2008 (March 21st - 23rd). I'll be there since I'm on the executive staff, but for the same reason, my time to hang out with friends is very limited. I do recommend you go if you can find a friend or two to travel with, it's a well-assembled con that is greatly respected amoung the fan-community. _________________

X> first of all i want to get 2 big wings in my back, 1 on each arm and 2 on both sides of each ankle. i also want to get my nickname, and Al's transmutation circle xD
i dont know how to connect those last 2 with the wings combo xD i'll figure out some day.
you have a tatoo??? awesome!!! i want to see the pics
Hart> actually i hvnt been on NY either xD just when i arrived to the airport. as i said, we are living in NJ, but we will probably take a tour to NY this weekend or as soon as my dad rent a car xD
so you gonna learn 3D animation? awesome! i would really like to see your works once you have them. i could give you some advices if you ever need them.
great thing that uni has connection with nintendo, you could get a job quickier than in a normal uni.
im gonna visit montclair uni right now (its pretty close to where im living), gonna ask about admissions, fees and stuff to study filmmaking.
oh! one thing i recomend you is to create an account on deviantart its a pretty cool place to post your animations, 3D models, etc. you could also get a job offer there.
Xeno> i'll look on google maps for anime stores around here xD
oh! good then, i was worried i was missing smthn cool.
im looking forward to your review.
aww man! well, i'll try to have some free time and my parents permission to go to anime boston........i'll also try to get some friends by then xD _________________
