What do you say when you GET dumped by a girl/boy?

Well, I've never really been dumped, but when you do the dumping, it kind of depends on the situation. I'd say as long as whatever you say respects the other persons feelings, its a good start. Or the very logical approach is very convincing while still not depressing the other person to much. For instance: "Look, this whole long distance thing just isn't working out. I can't keep thinking about you all the time without being able to see you. Its unproductive. I still like you a lot, but I just can't balance this relationship with my work. I'm sure you're the same way. I know you have a lot to worry about, and you don't need another complication." I mean, obviously rough around the edges, but the basic concept comes across. With this exoskeleton, and pondering on the exact wording for a couple of days, things should work out...well maybe not work out, but at least one person isn't totally crushed.

With most short relationships I just say "thanks for not waisting my time with it." and don't speak to them anymore.

But if you've been in a long term relationship the problem could be more complicated then, "are you just getting dumped?" Your partner may be saying, in a twisted manner, "are you willing to fight for me?" If you think that you are just being dumped I goto "well at least it was fun for a while." But, if you feel that you are being tested you have to ask yourself, "Is the person that your with really somebody that you want to be with." Because what they are also saying by testing you is "I can't trust you and so have to test you."

Usually I tell people who don't trust me to "go fuck off" and dispatch with any of the pleasantries.

lets see.. iv been in 7 relationships and from all those girls iv dated only 2 where honest..
so when i was dumped by the other girls i knew they where messing around with other guys.. it's sad because it only took alil push by me for them to brake up with me, i mean i didn't tell them i knew about the other guys
i just simply tell them i think u lost all feelings for me and you only staying with me because u feel srry with a calm voice and then they tell me that its true and try to give me some sad lil talk, which in side i want to scream out loud to them about how can they live with them selfs
but at the end i dont say much and tell them if thats how u fell i cant control that and if u want to brake up then where over
and when thats all over i some how become a jerk to them or i don't talk to them ever again then end^^

Well it has to be the classic 'drop to your knees and shout "Nooooooooooo!!!" to the sky, then go to a corner, hug your knees and act gloomy, not saying anything, not moving and not sleeping till morning', over-dramatic is always best ^_^ lol
