I did not explain myself well, i was referring specifically to the tecnique direction they gave, in which alot of unforgetable moments were made, but under ur description Gurren-Lagann is the name . |

before i forget it
the titel says Most Epic Anime...
i don't mean 'anime' as a singular more like plural
i am not looking for the one and only most epic anime of all
more a list of the most epic anime....
people are argueing about wether or not 'anime' is plural too or only singular
since i don't know how you people here handle it, i just wanted to make this clear^^ _________________ [IMG:338:120:3d94243a9b]http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6072/70939132oo8.png[/img:3d94243a9b]

as we already noticed, there are anime like Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann that are in all really epic
i prefer anime like that here...
but since it's hard to tell if an anime is really epic or not or the anime isn't epic itself but the fights are something like that i don't mind if you name the fight+anime (for example age vs yuti in Heroic Age)
so
i prefer anime
but...
i don't mind specific fight szenes, but they have to name who's fighting and which anime it's from... _________________ [IMG:338:120:3d94243a9b]http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6072/70939132oo8.png[/img:3d94243a9b]

Would I be wrong to say the U.C. Gundam universe? I know that it is made up of a bunch of different anime but they are really continuations of the previous and even have cameos of major and minor characters from the predecessor. _________________ [IMG:500:115:e9a3b92989]http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a208/Viewtiful_E/AdaWongsig-Amelia.png[/img:e9a3b92989] |

If from epic you simply mean the scope of the world being affected then anime like Noein and Melanchology of Haruhi Suzumiya would be considered most epic since the fate of the entire universe (multiple universes in case of Noein) is at stake.
However that's not what epic is. As much as I love Haruhi I would never call it epic. What makes an anime epic is the challenges and trials the characters go through to get to the end and these challenges do not have to be physical. In my opinion Death Note is indeed an epic anime even though Light and L don't fly around the earth throwing balls of energy at each other. |

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is an anime....
well epic...hard to explain...
maybe something big and kick ass...mahh i can't explain well
it's just a feeling you get when you see that fight and thinks that it is so god damn kick ass and sweeping... |
It's a 13 episode OVA series which was released in 1993 for the first 6 episodes showing the ending in full detail, and in 2001 they released the 2001 prequel. Also, last time I checks, OVA's were in the anime category. _________________ FagWreck |

lol, I don't remember anything that's been EPIC for me lately.
To me, EPIC is a moment in an anime or a manga where I'm just like "oh...........snap." I'm completely amazed (so amazed that my face is frozen in my "oh snap" face for 5 minutes) whether it be a plot twist, awesome fight, just anything that is EPIC. Is that clear? lmao |

Actually the first thing that comes to mind when you say epic would be Berserk. A bit off topic though, as I am refering to the manga rather than the anime, which only contains a small part of the events in the manga (or on, I don't know if you mean only anime ^.^; ).
If I had to name an anime, I'd like to go with Naruto actually. It might be a mainstream easy access shounen anime, however there is an enormous roster of loveable characters with unique and defining traits and personalities, as well as an intriguing story. fO.o
ps.
I don't care if you don't usually read manga, you are going to read Berserk, all of you! ^_^ _________________ 秘密ã?¨ã?¯å¯†ã?‹ã?«éš ã?—ã?¦äººã?«çŸ¥ã‚‰ã?ªã?„事を言ã?†ã?®ã?

yeah there is some kick as music in OP^^
for example when they walk to the gate of arlong park...de de de dedede de....etc
i love that music and it can make some fight real kick ass even if they aren't really....
hmmm i think eureka 7 had some really epic moments^^
not to forget Fate/stay night....
gunbuster & gunbuster II had some epic moments....
well it is sports but 'Hajime no Ippo' and 'Hungry Heart Wild Striker' had some kick ass moments...but it think that was because of the music >_<
to be continued... _________________ [IMG:338:120:3d94243a9b]http://img526.imageshack.us/img526/6072/70939132oo8.png[/img:3d94243a9b]

Well, although I'm not sure what you mean when EPIC in which area... but I usually think Shakespeare's writing... then i guess.
Romeo X Juliet, anyone?
I finally understood what the hell the story was about, at the end of episode 21, where someone in the story explained everything in a summary. |
