Just saying hello

Hi there! I'm new. Guess there isn't much to say except I'm mainly here because I'm a *recent* huge fan of Hajime No Ippo and IO manga. Personal interests of mine are boxing-which I have been into since I was 11 or 12 years old-fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. I can honestly say I haven't read manga (hell, I haven't even read any comics growing up) up until this point. So, it seems pretty wild to know there are entire communities dedicated to it and I'm very excited to try and be a part of it. In any case, nice to meet you all Smile

Hope to see more things soon!

so you must be new to the whole manga thing... and you started off very well with Hajime no Ippo which i consider to be one of the best manga out there... try to see other titles if you are into romance manga you may try Love Hina, I"s, Ichigo 100%... for sports manga go try slamdunk... man there are a lot of mangas out there that are recommendable to read... you will soon increase your archives of titles... then there is the anime part of it which is a whole new other thing.. Very Happy

Thanks a lot for the suggestions and the simple guidelines for rules. I guess I'll just flip through everything I can and hopefully I will start seeing more of things that I'll enjoy. Manga is definitely refreshing from all the college textbooks I have to eat through day and night Mad

Well...not everyone's as much of an otaku as me (and some other people around here... ^_^ )!

Oh yeah...if you're new I should explain 'otaku'! Uhm~...I guess it would mean something like 'sucker for things like anime and manga and...'...Help me out Xristyan! ^.^;
