Black, Red and Brown are my favorite hair colors for anime characters.
Kenshin Himura is my favorite red-head anime character but his OVA version sported a reddish brown color.
Heero Yuy for the brown-haired anime character.
Lastly, Sousuke Sagara for the black-haired anime character.

Redish hair like Kenshins from the OVA or Blue like Grimjow Jaggerjack for males
The red can look good on certain characters and terrible on others, plus I have the same hair color as Kenshin, and blue is my favorite color *shrug*
Pink, or Blue for females. They just look way to cute. |

| I usually prefer something normal. Neon colors can work well in sci-fi and fantasy, so they're tolerable sometimes. Mostly I just hate neon shades because they hurt my eyes. |
