Animation quality seems to have gone down a tiny bit.

Almost caught up with the subs now ... I forgot to d/l 16 before 17 ... and the pace finally picked up too.... I almost dropped this anime ... until I heard there was a new op and ed. I've always liked SnS music ... thought I'd have to look forward to that.

Eppie 15 was pretty good. And yeah I thought Yuji was the lamo guy, squealing in pain >.> Shana never fails to impress me though ^^. I can't seem bring myself to like Yoshida ... something about her, I just find annoying.

Oh yeah I love how everyone has their own title.

kimmie>> you are right.. that is one of those minute details that interest me in this show.. they have a whole bunch of titles... titles they seem to just pluck out of the air... its like they are on a title generator or something...

no one has as many titles as Margery Daw though... or as long as the title for shana... Very Happy

Kimmi, I agree with you on Yoshida... she's just too annoying to me. Shana is the bestest. To be honest, I hope that there's a Shakugan no Shana 3, and it doesn't end with just this.... I was so excited to hear about the second season since I rank Shakugan no Shana as my 3rd favorite anime of all time.

I hope that Yuuji is able to start being a bit more of a badass. I want to see him above, or slightly below Shana's strength. Sword and Magic attacks... Shocked

Gooooo Yuuji! ... and I want some romance between them, too.. the kind of closeness they had at the end of the first series, on the last episode. Someone teach Shana to stop being so... well, I can't think of the word.

i have to say that i'm really impressed with Yuuji's recent changes. he's making a good effort to not be useless, though it seems like he's being a mite headstrong about it.

and while i understand why shana and kazumi are both bumsore about yuuji's reasoning, i'm more inclined to lean towards supporting yuuji's rationale. ensuring the city and everyone else is safe comes first, then feelings can get worked out.

the whole, "you're using this as an excuse to choose (not choose) me!" thing just reeks of (forgive my language) sopping pussyfooting which is a dark harkening back to the filler eps earlier in the season.

I do like several of the side stories but the writers really dragged on the slice of life stuff to overkill. Yay Shana about time Smile
