Episode 19 really speeds things up. I'm thinking this is just like J.C Animation. Season 1 had a similar pattern to this-Throwing in episodes with less emphasis on plot and more on entertainment of all kinds, then taking us back to really intense action.

Will someone die next episode?

I have a feeling that Eita and Masakete might die somewhere along the way. In their attempt to get away from Misaki City, they might walk into a future battlefield between Flame Haze and the Tomogara. But that's just my speculation. I feel that someone will die, and it'll be a pretty big character.

Episode 21 is just plain exhilarating! I was totally laughing to myself near the end. It pleased me to no end. After this episode however, it seems that the slice-of-life theme will be back.

Ep 21 was pretty good, but I still don't see the main plot clearly. And how many episodes are left? Five?

with the way things are going if they don't make any progress plot wise in the next few episodes then they might just hang us for a 3rd installment... Very Happy

this episode was alright... good action... and sakai-kun being all cool again... Very Happy

hmm wonder if they are planning a 3rd season cause from what I see the story progression seems to slow for just 2 seasons.

I don't really mind if they go for a third... but then that would mean more waiting... Confused

thoughts on ep 22...

a little more backstory for adding depth to a character... some more dramaish happening... and a monster cliffhanger... very interesting indeed...

Hmmm ep 23 is out now. I can't wait to get home and watch it!
How many episodes are there in this season? Do you think they'll wrap it up fast enough to prevent another season? Or do you think they'll try to milk this series dry and come out with more?

Personally, I don't mind if they add another season. It just needs to have another compelling story. Yuuji is getting more and more powerful, though the preview for 23 shows him losing the Reiji Maigo. The Mystes is the source of his abilities is it not? It pretty much lets him use his existential energies at a whim. Without it, can he still survive? Or will he lose all of his abilities, INCLUDING being able to move within a Fuzetsu?

I believe he will still have the abilities of a mystes but will have to conserve his own existence now that he doesn't have an unlimited supply.

Just watched 23, and it's quite the build-up to the climax. Preview of 24 says that he will shout out the name of the person he has chosen to protect. If it is Shana, I'm pretty sure it's going to be a happily ever after type thing. If it is Yoshida, however... He will be trying to protect someone who is not yet in danger, but can be if she chooses to use the Hougu entrusted to her by Pheles. Pheles will be summoned, and will probably be a welcomed reinforcement to our pair of Flame Hazes. But that will break Yuji's heart. A twist would be if he chooses one but disappears... (as in used the rest of his power of existence)

I'm so excited for 24! Is it the last episode?
