Seriously!?... that's right, I'm looking at you Studio Feel! The premise/first season for the show were bad, the second season was ten times worse and so you thought to yourselves "we need to make a second Da Capo!"...
S-E-R-I-O-U-S-L-Y!?
What's sad is that I'm not even upset... I'm just horribly, horribly confused.
This thread now welcomes all of the misguided Da Capo lovers to try and explain to me how wasting any more production dollars on this franchise is in any way justified. _________________ You can't hold no groove if you ain't got no pocket. |

But in all seriousness, is it seriously the exact same characters with different looks, horrendous voices and a dismal supporting cast? Personally, I think it's a conspiracy the company has set up with the circles of ComiKet and import stores around the world to sell more doujins outside of Japan. _________________

No...Seriously?!?
I was thinking that despite the glaring similarities in the basic designs of the characters (minor complaint), that there will actually be a change in the storyline altogether. Is it that similar?
If it isn't, all is well. I thought the start was decent enough to warrant a look out for the second episode. _________________ [IMG:350:100:b32e8a3e97]http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a103/FAITH01/tomoyo1.png[/img:b32e8a3e97] |

I haven't seen the previous serie so can't really say much about it but the first episode I really felt the artwork was pretty good and the story only a little cliche but then again it was the first episode so that often happens. Might watch, might not haven't decided yet. Several school romance anime at the moment it seems.
Will probably try the second episode to see where it goes. |

Well, personally, I loved Da Capo, and Da Capo Second Season. I have no reason to turn away from this. I liked the first episode too. _________________ [IMG:400:120:873b0624c7]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b21/hurricanedra/Boredom.gif[/img:873b0624c7] |

Da Capo was alright, Da Capo S.S. ending ticked me off. (i still like the show don't get me wrong)
And to me Da Capo II seems likes it takes place after the first two. I'm only assuming, I haven't read anythign about this who yet lol. but it looks like it's jun'ichi's kids now. but he has two sisters with different family name. Where did yoshizuki sakurai come from? o.O _________________ The hardest person to forgive is yourself~ |

I'm not hooked on Da Capo II, but having been involved with anime for some time, I have heard the title thrown around once or twice. I figured I'd pick it up and see how it went. I have the second episode waiting for me, and after watching the first ep. again last night, I found myself taking screenshots because a frame looked pretty. And that's when I realized...
...I was bored.
The series could start and end itself with the first episode alone. I was confused when food appeared from the guy's hand for no reason whatsoever after he had looked in the refrigerator for food to begin with. Characters have cliche motivations, don't find any intrigue with the storyline (Oo! but it started off during a culture festival! XDDD), and find the names stupid and not memorable at all (e.g. Koko, Yoshiyuki). I'm going to see what happens in the second episode and then I'll make my verdict. |

Episode 3.
Now, I understand it was necessary for the story, but..........
Who the f**king hell pushes a button absentmindedly like that!? You sir, would have endangered the world if that was a missile launch! _________________

From the game, Yoshiyuki Sakurai is the unborn child of Sakura and Junichi which they make a wish to the cherry bloom tree... and as for Yume and Oto-nee they are Junichi's grandchildren

Wait, were you expecting like... the Legends of Kyoto or something? It's Da Capo. XD
Meh, I'm bored enough to watch it anyway, between waiting for other series. XD _________________ [img:425:100:e0ea21b26c]http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c118/animefanrk2k/CWMashiba.jpg[/img:e0ea21b26c]

Actually, personality-wise, the character's aren't that much the same, at least in my mind. _________________ [IMG:400:120:873b0624c7]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b21/hurricanedra/Boredom.gif[/img:873b0624c7] |

Well, after watching episode 2, I have to say that I'm just slightly confused on how this series will play out. It seems like a decent series so far, but it depends on which direction it goes.
Oh and Koko's making me have flashbacks to Shuffle's Kaede. It must be the orange hair. XD _________________ [img:425:100:e0ea21b26c]http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c118/animefanrk2k/CWMashiba.jpg[/img:e0ea21b26c]

| Characters of Da Capo 1 comparison to 2 are almost identital except for a few changes, yet the personalities and actions of them are completely different. doesn't so much more appealing than the first one to me right now, but it might get better. |
