Regarding the knife theory...
Geez, this isn't School Days, people, and I'll be if it's the same scriptwriter for the former doing Myself; Yourself. His apparent fear of blood should be connected to the scar on his wrist. Perhaps the first time when he might have wanted to commit suicide, someone stopped him, and got hurt-badly, for some reason.

wow you guys are way up on the whole knife thing. but has anyone thoguth about how school days is creepily realistic in a certain sense. you say this is different but somehow im not so sure it is. now i have been out of the loop for many years but as i recall not many animes like this have the main character coming back from trying to kill himself. (dont get mad i been gone long!) but though there are distinct similarities between this and school days it is also true they are nto the same. but let us nto forgot how innocent school days began. anyway so far the anime is not bad i liked the first two eps but the third was a bit...iffy should i say. hope it picks up.
wow i just previewd my response first and dam is that really the picture on my posts? so old.. |

Please, it's still a good story based on a decent game, the only difference is that this story has a a good protagonist.
I like the main male character of Myself Yourself, simply because he is conscious of his actions and how he affects people around him... to an extent. He is still clueless to how the three girls are somewhat infatuated with him.
Still, the only bad part of this animated story I can think of is that that short girl with the glasses and big breasts. Not only is is illogical to have sizes like that when she is so thin, but also because she is (excuse my slight racism) Japanese. I find it hard to imagine a life-like person she would be based off of unless that women had had a lot of surgical implants. Sure, this is a cartoon, however, her size does affect the main male character, so I would take that into consideration as a factor of the story that should not be lightly ignored.
To state in simpler terms:
Damn, she has big tits.

When I saw that knife with red blood on it and how the he reacted, I have a sudden cold down my spine and got a feeling it will have some twisted ending like school days
Thats being said, I really hope it doesn't happen. I just absolutely hate ending that have crazy twists like that. |

| Hmm... after watching episode 4 i have to say im fairly impressed by the story. Sure there were some humor every now and then, but i found the plot and the conclusion to the episode pretty good. And hes such a guuud boy speaking on the phone with his mom before sleeping. |

im still finding it difficult to merge aoi's character with her voice.. its kinda hard hearing that "chiyo-chan" voice on a clumsy big boob megane apron type of chara if ya know what i mean.. -_- i keep seeing them rocket pigtail screw-ons whenever she's speaking. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

with the way episode 5 was shown i can't help but think...
The grandma was the one responsible for the disappearance of pi-chan and if my assumption is correct the cat will be the next to go and be buried at one of the twin hills...

seemingly afraid of fire.. i mean it looks like she had the bonfire replaced with "lights" did her parents die in a fire or somethin?
so it looks like some supposed dark or deep stuff to materialize in the concluding episodes, tho i doubt ill take it seriously prolly laugh at it when it happens =P
anyways...

well ..
given the brief flash back we had when she was asked why she's living with her uncle (a house burning) .. i would assume something happened to her house (and mostl likely her parents along with it) burned up with the house ...
what i'm also wondering is the violin thing .. why is there a reason why she doesn't want to play anymore? something to do with her parents is my guess .. that it reminds her of them .. but who knows?
.. guess we'll find out soon enough..
