It's not only girls liking blokes with a squint, as i observed, most pretty girls end up their relationships with weird blokes that even sometimes seemed "unacceptable".
Not that I say that i'm handsome or i'm very very proud of myself. Admit it, I bet every time you see a very pretty girl who's accompanied by a very weird guy and then someone tells you that their dating and that girl really really likes that guy, you sometimes think: How could a pretty girl like that end up with a such a guy blah blah blah...
Is it that most pretty girls see guys beyond looks? Or is it just that guy's charisma or something...
I'm just curious of what's you're opinion on this, maybe it'll clear everything up for me and to everyone else.

in all seriousness though, a recent study said that women prefer guys that look like cavemen. I'm not sure how I feel about that.. it must be some kind of primal attraction. yeah, i read about that on yahoo, popular people like brad pitt and will smith have those cavemen-like skull structure.

i've always thought of brock as a damn creep.
and i don't think i've had any attraction to cavemen.

Im not sure what you mean by squint, thought my eyes always look half closed due to lack of sleep... would that count?
Well from experience, you just dont know what a girl's tastes are like really... trust, the most unlikely of guys can get a hottie.
This of course deppends on what you think a "hottie" is. *winks at spanky* *walks off casually* *slips on banana peel and falls into pile of trash cans*
but the point of the question is, that poor weird looking guys get hotties....
here in germany...it is almost the same...many many not so good looking guys get really good looking girls...
and everytime i think "dondake?!?...i am better looking than him deshou~"

Yes, well... um... hmmm...
It so happens one of my best friends, who is the son of one of the most prominent businessmen in medicine in China. He is decently rich and he gets plenty of pretty girls. Now, when I say decently rich, I mean they had a 6million dollar+ mansion in California that they just left there (without selling it, pretty much just abandoning it) like it was nothing. Well, his mom complained a bit, but that's because she put plenty of effort into decorating it...
Well I might have forgotten to mention that he is very athletic, well-built, overall nice guy, friendly, gentle, kind-hearted, wittily funny, a perfect gentleman, and a very honorable guy in a world-class university... but I still think it's the money.
He gave me a black macbook for getting into college present, what a funny guy.

To comment on what others have been saying... money is probably the real reason. There's other things to consider, like personality... but what I heard is that they're really guys who are good at... ummmm... bedroom activities.
here's something else to consider... if it's true or not...
it's what my friend calls the "2 to 10" phenomenon. A guy who would be considered a "2" in America is considered like an "8" or "9" in Japan. Is this true? Why do you think this is? Well, I'm not sure about the 'foreigne' aspect, thought I know on some ppl it can actualy play a certain big part (for example, everyone loves accents).
I think thats a different issue to the whole thread topic overall thought.
And yes, agreed, many surveys have proven what women realy want, subconsciously or not, is money and power... and being good in the sack is a bonus.

A related study was discussed on my usual radio show this morning:
when women are ovulating (ie, most fertile), they prefer "normal" guys... someone who will be a good husband, father, provider
when women are not ovulating, they want the beastly men that drive them wild

when i see that caveman photo, it just grosses me out. damn body hair.
and with the japanese thing. its kinda true. japan has a certain
kind of idolization towards the west. not that they think the west
are any better, its just that they like the physical features of
causasian people. the bone structure and what not. they also see
them as more "manly" as compared to the "wimpy" japanese men.
plus, they're sparse, and as you know people like rare things.
and quit talkinga bout money. you make chicks look bad. there's plenty

with money won't treat you right. why? because there's plenty of

Anyways, according to the fountain of knowledge that is Wikipedia: Girls generally go for guys who have more 'masculin' features do to subconsciously wanting the most 'healthy' and therefor fertile male. Whats considered healthy is meant to be universal in all countries: muscles, cheek bones, high forehead.
Isnt it fun when its all broken down into science?^^
And obviously theres the cultural thing, like spanky and xeno mentioned.
