wow, never thought id be impressed with something that had such a sissy title..

i dont know how the story will fare from here, it seems to be another character oriented deal, not so much of a harem thing, tho there are girls, yeh a seemingly dramatic feel, but the element execution was just right, not too much over the top, even with the seiyuu, and the animation quality seems to have a hefty budget under it. nice details in, a themic overall atmosphere as well with just right subtle sounds and some scenes have a touch of nostalgia..

First episode manage to grab my attention. Good opening song as well as animation. The characters are quite interesting. Though the male protagonist could of use some work imho.

Overall. i'll be following this one. And two thumbs up for the cute chibi ending Very Happy

wow, this show is good. i have to admit the first episode was just enough to grab my attention. second episode was better. and then the twist at the end of the third episode was the part that hooked me. maybe it's the way the story is being told that makes me want to watch it. i mean i see romance anime all the time. it's the way it's presented that makes me keep watching them. for this one it's the comedy, the way the characters interact and the story.

eagerly waiting for the next episode.

after 3 eps id say this is a keeper ^^

i really enjoy the way the characters interact with each other, it all seems really natural, the circumstances between the guy and the girl living together has some tension to it.. normally its usually a girl living with the guy alone, or if parents are present its usually just the mother or an elder female/older sis/aunt whos rarely seen at home. this new setup i think breaks new ground with the complete family setup+"guest" theme, the circumstances in and out of the house.. for one thing its not a guy living in an apartment+girl, nor a guy living in a mansion+harem.. the awkwardness, tension and conflicting relationships are really being fleshed out well.

Amazing...is that calc material on the chalkboard? Which makes me realize they haven't mentioned their age nor grade.

Also, I gotta say "ouch" to the ending. Poor guy.

I currently watching this anime and now I was in the third episode. I thought this will going to be boring but I was wrong. True Tears is rather interesting. While not the best anime I ever watched but I was hooked by it.

The best part of this anime is not the storyline, but its animation quality. I bet this one is a high-budget anime of this season.

One thing I dislike about True Tears is the character designs. While characters aren’t ugly, they could be better looking.

Overall, I was satisfied with its two earlier episodes and I hope the third one will be as good or better. I hope you going to blog it someday, well it was your decision after all.

This show has great potential...

judging by only the first three eps it seems to be one of the better series out right now... the animation is pretty high end, storyline has enough weight on it to be interesting and makes the audience want to watch more...

will keep watching...

I suspect, however, that Hiromi is lying to everyone, especially herself.

I marathoned the first three episodes and I'm happy to say this will be on my weekly watch list. =)

i think the character designs are just fine, they can emote just right imo.. if they make em too moe-ish, itll be hard to take em seriously(plus i like the fact that theres no yellow, red, green, or pink haired character ~ok maybe theres a redhead but its still toned just right and not too brightly like a wig if it were IRL), and well this is kinda a drama so..

i agree with fresh, that thing with hiromi, tho the circumstances give her a good reason for it.. she did look concerned afterall. and that childhood memory still lingers.

i think theres something deeper going on with the mom and hiromi, i mean its one thing to not like a "freeloader" but there seems to be something else.. why the mom finds hiromi disagreeable. also with the tension maybe why hiromi is displaying a seemingly different character personality in school and at home.

I have a feeling that hiromi may be lying as well.. then again there was this scene where she looked awestruck by that basketball dude... that may be canceled by her reaction towards the end of episode 3 when she saw the male lead...

now with regards to the mother seemingly displeased with her... I have a very outlandish assumption... the girl MAY be the daughter of the father... with the other girl... Razz

the mom was very adamant about saying "she is not my child" but we are just three episodes in so I may be too ahead of myself... but hey, it's a possibility... Very Happy

"ouch" was what i thought at the beginning of ep4... poor guy indeed..

we get to see more reaction from the mother, i dont know if she either hates Hiromi's mom or not(its easy enuff to pressume she does -kinda like a way to steer the audience off.. there must be something else aside from the obvious)

lookin forward to the next ep.

my first impression of shin'ichiro's mother was "cold". she seems to be very disgruntled with the current state of things, and shin'ichiro doesn't seem to mind her much. we'll probably find out her situation eventually.

my current theory is that hiromi's mother commited adultry (had an affair) and had the same guilty look hiromi currently has, in hiromi's case, i think she feels guilty towards shin'ichiro for falling for number 4.

i'm enjoying the drama here. the kids each have their own networks, i'd love to make a relationship chart. i enjoy that it's a good mix of guy->girl, girl->guy instead of generic girl->guy<-girl harem triangles.

i'm got major imouto-con (sister lusting) vibes from number 4. [/spoiler]

preview of ep 5 is... well...

at the beginning of episode 4 hiromi was desperately trying to follow through with the deal with number 4... it's pretty obvious she likes shin as well hence her guilty look at the middle of the ep... now regarding shin's mom, he doesn't seem to like her... dare I say he might even loathe her...

things are getting complicated... which makes it more interesting...

ahhhh!!!! what a different turn of events....

soo...from the preview of last episode .. the things i was wondering about the most .. was the .. the lick .. and hiromi saying the "busy body" thing .. and we find out .. the lick was simply the way noe was shown to take someone's tears .. and hiromi was annoyed that shinichiro came into her room for the first time just to mention another guy ...

so this tells me that hiromi may actually (based on her reactions we got as well) ... that she may not actually like #4 .. that it really is with shinichiro .. but the dumbest thing ever is that shinichiro did that whole "swapping" thing wit him .. so now we have #4 who wasn't that interested in hiromi to begin with going after her.

.. great ...

guess i'm a big sucker for wanting the "childhood" things to work out .. no matter how played out they may be .. but i really do would like it to somehow work out .. but with how the preview for the next episode looks .. #4 is making his move with hiromi .. and now we have ai-chan who might be making a move on shinichiro (or at least her relationship with the other guy might be in question) ...

sooo many different love triangles going on with it able to be going any way .. especially since shinichiro can go anyway .. though we can easily see atm .. it seems to be:

wow can't wait to see what happens next .. though i'm sure i myself should prepare to be a little bit disappointed .. = /
