I'm fairly surprised they aired this show...

to some it might be an eyebrow raising topic but yeah...

they did a whole lot of censoring for this series....

I downloaded this because it said Comedy in the synopsis, but now that I went and read about it on wikipedia since I saw your topic, not sure it's worth wasting time on. I'll wait and see what others say before I watch the first episode.

Well I thought it was fun. Little girls trying to seduce their teacher for me is a lot different then the teacher trying to seduce his kids. As long as the teacher doesn't cross the line, and he doesn't, then it stays just a fun show.

I enjoyed episode 1. They did censor a lot, but thats probably good, and was to be expected.

Eeek I mostly decide to download stuff on appearance and story. But this time I decided to download almost all new series fansubbed and see iff there's a good anime I would probally have missed out on.
But this sounds like the type of japan weirdness that I don't like =_=.

Hard core loli-con with a Pedo-bear mascot taking smoke breaks for CM cutscenes. Given the negative news on pedophiles around the world i would hope this series tanks. As the loli anime shows get more hardcore i become more worried for Nihon and anime in general. Soon some people are going to take this up to the censorship band wagon. Nearly happened last year. Heck even a hardcore place like Hongfire banned loli for a while.

I would think that this should at least get the ecchi tag added, and if it exists the Lolicon tag.

I thought after EP1 that I'd see where EP2 went maybe it would just be a funny show. Nope its like yotsuba was raped as a child and now warped and perverted dishes it out on a poor naive guys.

The teacher does cross the line with his conduct in the second episode.
Any teacher getting caught doing that in the US and most anywhere else is likely to at minimum be fired, and likely jailed.

I feel sorry for guys who enjoy loli or shota to this and worse levels and hope they never take this fetish into the real world. Every time you watch this crap its just adding on to the emotional scars you already have.

It doesn't deserve ecchi tag, and we don't have a loli tag at the moment. If we did, this would definitely get it though.

Personally, I don't care what anyone else says, I'm enjoying this show so far. Sure its loli, but its more amusing then dirty.

I'm starting to enjoy this less and less. Because of the subject, the creators of this show are censoring everything. Its not that I'm a loli, its that I have a problem with deliberately censoring stuff. Why not, if they don't want to show something, just change it. Use different angles, convenient clouds etc. Don't just throw up some stupid banner saying its censored. Don't just bleep out everything for 2 minutes... Its just starting to get irritating. I'd rather they had just changed the scenes and or the dialog rather then do it this way.

Ah well, I'll catch the next episode, then decide whether or not I can stand any more of the censoring.

My point is that the intent is pedophilia in this show. All the way down to the pedophiles internet mascot having a smoke break as the CM break cutscene.

Not ecchi? If the placards used to censor are removed and replaced with soap suds, mosaic or a well placed hand like most other shows with the same intent they get the ecchi tag.

Children make for the core of great stories, especially humor.
But taking what is a story essentially about harming children and making it then somehow cute is grotesque.

I had a moment of doubt on the topic, creative license etal, but i think that i'm not alone in this view by a longshot. Want to sell your game in the EU, if its violent it has to leave out depictions of children.

Makes me feel like a PTA mom. /cringe

IMO this show is getting some unfair criticism. It's not like a schoolgirl having a crush on the teacher is something new in anime(and various other media). Sure they're more "in your face" about it but that's the whole angle of the show. It's not like he's getting busy with the girls, or even intending to for that matter. It's just this poor guys struggle dealing with the crazy situations thrown at him.

All that aside, this is a work of fiction, i.e. made up, not real, fake, etc. I know we should think of the poor animated children and all, but it would be easier to consider their imagined feelings if the show weren't so darned funny.

episode six showed some pretty good depth and drama... a little break from the comedic intent of the series so far...

they did pretty well in this one...

that censoring thing still bothers me though...

and even with this backstory episode i can't connect on why Rin would be that much upfront with her affections for that teacher or why she acts the way she acts...
