That was ... quite a surprise.
Not that it changes my views on him at any rate. Dumbledore will remain as one of the most intriguing and admirable character in Harry Potter. |

Not surprising if you think about it. But this doesn't matter at all. imo _________________ Dv |

| However, it is rather disturbing... mental picture. A one hundred fifty year old man with another one hundred year old man... |

I guess this explains why those unclaimed issues of PlayGirl magazine addressed to "A. Wizard, Hogwarts School" are all piling up in the owlry. _________________

Rowling could write a book about a village of smurfs on the dark side of the moon dealing with an invasion of sugar-addicted sponges and call it "Harry Potter and I want your money" and the fans would still storm the bookstores at midnight like the rabid idiots they are
But I've got to give her credit for pulling a success like HP out of the hat even if it is cliche, the story is predictable and the topics are a 50/50 mix of a teen magazine and horror b-movies.
Still a fun read though ^^ |

33 teen magazine
33 horror b-movie
33 Dr. Suess nonsense
01 gay porn apparently now, haha ^___^
SRSLY tho... doesn't this sound like a gimmick to everyone now? The book is over and done with. If homosexuality was so important to Ms. Rowling, how come she didn't just incorporate it into the story? Now she can pretty much step into the spotlight every other month and just say something random about the charcters to get attention.
What next: is Hagrid Hermione's dad? gasp, shock, horror... tell us more, Ms. Rowling!! _________________

Soooooooooooo ... a harry potter spin-off movie or book involving Dumbledore and his male wizard companion in something reminiscent to brokeback mountain? Cause I know those fanfics are already on the high rise.

yeah i found that out.
but honestly, i don't see traces of his homosexuality in it.
i mean... unless his like sex buddy is snape, which explains
why snape is such a tight ass (hahahaha) so anywhoo.
really, what the hell does it really have to do with the story?
i honestly loved the first book because it was "new" and imaginative.
but once that was over and done with, it was boring as hell.
i finished the series, but the last book's ending was so crappy
that i could've pulled something out of my ass and it'd be
better. or rather...dumbledore could pull something out of someone's
ass. (hahahaha) okay, i'll stop now _________________ "The basis of optimism is sheer terror."

I loved HP ad found that it got better as it went on; she really tied in the story elements well...although the epilogue was rather lack lustre in comparassion to the rest of her book...but getting back to the point
it really doesn't matter to me if albus really was a homosexual because frankly, his character was charming. And if she really was trying to portray him as a homosexual, her ques were subtle at best. It doesn't change my opinion about her books and I doubt it will to anyone that has already read her books. 'OMGASH he's gay' doesn't seem very high on the priority list of things to think of. I mean people wouldn't really have known until she said so - there was speculation, but there was nothing conclusive. there are a lot of hermits in the world and the book is about harry, not a deceased old man. |

| Yes, but the problem lies not within the time during the series, rather what happened before the series and "oh my god, the fanficton!" |

Maybe Snape found out that, that's why he turned on him...
or maybe his god doenst believe in homosexuality... or maybe it's just voldermort?
or maybe dumberdore did something to voldermort in his younger days that made him hate him so...
or maybe "only dumberdore can defeat voldermort" mean that.... XXX
haha... so manything can rise up because of that sentence. |

oh nooo... she went there
as expected, now overprotective parents and Bible-humpers are denegrating this book series even more now. I'm sure you've all seen today's headline news. _________________
