So, after 18 episodes, any guesses as to who the killer really is?

My own opinion right now is that

its got to be the older Meijin brother

Still waiting on episode 19. I couldn't wait, so I downloaded the raws. Even though I could hardly understand anything, it was still a really great show. And without giving any spoilers at all, I loved the ending. Very Happy

Yeah! Episode 19 finally released! Has been a very long wait for those who were waiting for subs. Right at one of the key parts of the show too. Only a few episodes to go. No doubt remaining who the killer is now.

This has so far been a good series. Too bad that the subs are taking a longer time to came out towards the end of the series.

I did! He was my first suspect. It was only when...

the brother was introduced, and being pushed as a Red Herring that I thought perhaps the brother was the guilty one.

hehe i'm glad my 3 prime suspects from the very start actually had one that was certain.

Always seemed that something was off with Satorou.... that he possibly couldn't be the actual killer but more of a victim linked to Shion.

Now it's just about the motives to why Makoto wanted Shion's parents and Kazumi dead.

Also this anime is indeed quite good. spent a couple of days on it now and really makes you interested in Shogi.

only 3 episodes to go now.

Anyway, just picked up this series recently and all I can say is Wow ! Cool ! The element of mystery and the symbolism and metaphorical parallels to chess is just awesome ! Cool

Series is actually complete, has been for quite awhile, its just Live-evil is taking a long time to finish subbing the last 3 episodes. This after a month or more between the 18th and 19th episode. So fans like myself who couldn't wait, went and downloaded the raws, and maybe read spoilers online to help figure out what they missed from the raws.

Hopefully Live-evil will hurry up and finish this great series.

aye I've been waiting fore live-evil to release the rest, kinda painful, tried to watch one of the raws but not the same feeling if you can't understand 75% of it.-

This anime certainly is very underrated, gets kinda sad when 5+ teams are on 1 anime, while this one only got one, which take their time =S

Patience is important but man it's a tough nut, i am however grateful that live-evil go into details with their notes and so on but still very tough heh.

Yeah, very true. The last 2 episodes are really good. Particularly the next one where Shion...

rips off the necklace that connects her to her parents killer, and puts on the one that connects her to her friend.
