I am not sure if there is a topic on this. I looked around could not find one.

Animes and mangas are based in the fantasy and sometimes real world. Either way they deal with fantastic story lines. The reason for this topic is to find out if or how many animes take aim at real life events?

The second reason would be to see how the world of anime fans would react to seeing an anime show something like Bush and Chenney, in a serious Real situation?

Hmmm. Well I guess MONSTER qualifies where part of the storyline focuses on Nazi experiments back in the WWII days.

I apologize. i was looking for more like controversial events. like iran and iraq. Terrorists. Big Brother london. stuff like that. I would like to check out that MONSTER anime.
