Heard of it, looks pretty sweet, it reminds me of IMVU, but on a console. Sounds pretty cool in theory, last I read it was gonna be free, I hope it stays like that. I dont wanna have to pay for it.... _________________ Miku Miku!!

im not really too excited about this...i mean what is it suppose to be?? like the SIMS but in the internet? like having a fake/virtual life and interacting and meeting new people virtually and hanging out virtually and playing pool virtually???? if im missing something thats what it sounds like to me. i have a ps3 and honestly this might interest other people but for now i don't really know why they are making this, its like live ur life in ur ps3. just making u more oblivious to real life. maybe? i think so. _________________

Souchiro - I wouldn't try to consider Home as a game, if that's what's making you uneasy about it. Phil Harrison (Sony Representative Director) explained it at this years' TGS:
Quote:
Home is not a product. It's not something we burn onto a disc and ship in retail stores. That encapsulates the entirety of the product. Home is a service that starts; it's already started, and its just growing from now.
By the way, I'm not sure what he meant when he said that last sentence, so someone might have to explain that to me.
The way I see it, Home is somewhat similar to the DS's Pictochat or, as you mentioned, The Sims (Online). If I heard correctly, it is even "backwards-compatible" with most, if not all, PS3 games. And by that, I mean, you can launch PS3 games directly from Home.

if it's really for free, then they might be the first to do it for free (maybe), I think I read about a service like that somewhere before but I'm not sure where..
anyway, being free doesn't make me any more excited about it..
"another something that doesn't sound so bad but I won't have time for it anyway.. " _________________

I've actually been looking forward to this for a few months now. Between Rock Band and this the days in which my ps3 just sat there collecting dust will be over
