Is zero an even number?

A standard number line:

What do we know about zero?
Zero is neither positive or negative
Whatever multiplies by it, becomes it
Nothing can be divided by it
A number to its power is 1.
It is the origin
It has no value by itself

But... is it an even number?
by itself?
???
because zero by itself is not really a number
cause it has no value
or maybe it does... it's value is zero...
maybe...

think about how cool it would be if it wasn't!
that would mean there are more odd numbers than even numbers
that by itself would contradict infinity!
numbers wouldn't be infinite!

the absence of value does not make it any less of a number because in the end numbers are representations of every possible value. zero represents an absence of value and as such, is a number.

since 0 is divisible by 2 without remainder, it is an even number. any interger that is divisible by 2 without remainder is even; any interger that is not is odd.

asking about numbers isn't really an important question; this should go to ffa

tp tell y the fact that without zero we wouldnt even have computers now

without it we wouldnt have a proper equation

without it we would be able to even get the most common computation

becaus without the value of nothing we cant get the value of anything

now i talked to my teachers about this one they said it cannot be even nor odd...they also went on to say that its the center of all the numbers and asked me why would i ask if ive been taught its neither or since grade school
