^you could try [AiA I-Z] subs, theyre in mp4 format 768 x 432 res, if it still doesnt work out for you im sure its easy enuff to use a program to convert it to xvid avi, unlike mkv.
also looks like [AonE-Gekkostate-Menclave] will be releasing 704x400 xvid avi(they have ep1 xvid out already) but just like they did gundam00 it will come out later after the HD versions.. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

my computer sucks so bad that mp4 won't even go through... though I could probably go around that and use the PSP to play the mp4... but too lazy to go about that route... >.<
well, looks like I will really have to wait this one out and be late in the happenings... T__T _________________

I've only seen ep2, but I love how it mirrored the part o the first Macross episodes. The rookie pilot, being saved by the big brother, taking off w/the girl clutched in the giant hand, the arm getting severed and catching the falling girl pulling her into the cockpit.
Great stuff. |

How awesome is the love triangle in this anime?
Huge entertainment just watching the relationships unfold. |

Probably gonna be decent, Your women are Rakka, whose a cute orphan girl, and the assertive idol Sharyl, and the male being Alto somewhat of a pretty boy, think his father was a kabuki dancer and disowned him, yeah....
just watch the series its been better than most current love triangles I've seen. |

Macross is easily my fav anime this season. Every eps so far has been entertaining.
It's so good, that I might torture myself an not watch it until mid year holidays. That way it would have accumulated, allowing me watch a whole chunk at once. For non episodic animes, i think that's the best way to watch them.
I just hope they don't make the whole "singing is the key" element too lame. In previous macross series, the main char piloted his variable fighter with an electric guitar. That was dumb. |

indeed.. i just hope the quality keeps up throughout.. im kinda concerned if they did/are doing episodes through different studios.. i guess they can have lesser studios handle the animation of the "easy" parts/episodes of the story.. thankfully the cg and effects staff are separate from the ones doing the animation. but i just hope the director has a firm grip when they do outsource for the animation.
hehe reg the guitar controlled VFs, yeh they took that one too far on M7. but i dont think well be seeing VFs with built in speakers & subwoofers anytime soon in Frontier.. i hope _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

Yeah, I've noticed a deterioration in the animation at times. Sometimes the proportions of the characters faces aren't perfect during some of the scenes, whereas in eps1 they were perfect. Also, theres less detail at times.
It hasn't bothered me too much yet, but if deteriorates further, I'd probably have a problem. Also agree that the CG and effects are still strong as ever, the ending of eps was simply beautiful. |

haven't noticed any real quality problem other than the typical "trying to move humanly" often ends with a little change of animation of the characters.
But hey they are doing it top notch, both sotry and animation, and i certainly can't wait till next episode, since we are starting in the real war zone now for Alto and Co.
Never force yourself to look for small glitches or errors, else you just end up missing the real fun in it. |

believe me we're not "forcing" ourselves. -_-
i just found it strange they would outsource some animation from the original studio onto others when it doesnt seem to be a long series. and another thing its not a filler episode.
ep6's animation is done by a studio known to do a "filler" ep or two for some other anime hence the characters movements seem to have "stiffened" up a bit.. because of the effects and cg its not really that much noticeable. _________________ [img:400:237:866f672f5a]http://www.geocities.com/bktabz/mari_boya.jpg[/img:866f672f5a] |

| yeah I wasn't really liking the face animations in this episode, wasn't really all that much action so its ok to save budget on stuff like that. Most of the action is CGI so its cool. |

This anime has been great so far. It reminds me so much of the original Macross but too bad it is only freakin 13 episodes long.
Anybody know where I can get my hands on the Manga? |

| Don't fret my friend, I'm glad to tell you that you're incorrect about it being 13 eps long. ANN lists it as being 25 episodes long. They only have the details for 13, of those the 25 episodes, so perhaps that's where the confusion is coming from. |
