yeah... I've seen photos... imagine a full-size department store with NOTHING but anime and manga stuff. Spankit took photos last time she went and had a shot of what looked like a supermarket filled entirely with gachapon figures. O__O

good to know. I'll be going to Japan this summer (hopefully living there), and I hear that people's lives revolve around convenience stores. You can get pretty much ANYTHING there... even pay your utility bills.

Other cities were pretty much the same. Though I actually ran into a bunch of arcades in Shinjuku and I finally realized how far arcade games have come. There are tons of Tekken 6 machines, Gundam Seed Destiny Rengoky vs. Zaft 2 Plus, Melty Blood, and Guilty Gear machines everywhere. I even got into this card based arcade game called MSGundam 0083 Card Builder.
did you leave Tokyo Metropolitan at all? Kyoto, perhaps?

awesome. I know they don't allow photography, but getting a CD, a photo, and autograph surely makes up for it. Do you know the name of the cafe you went to?

Yah. The place I went to was near this Don Quixote in this main street on Akiba. It was called @home Cafe and there are like three different stories on the top. The 1st one had the people wearing kimonos and the other two stories had the typical maid outfits.
Also, unfortunately, i was unable to go out outside of Tokyo. I plan to go back after I graduate high school and see if my Japanese improved at all by trying to communicate with Ota. Hes trying to learn english too. I want to check out Kyoto and perhaps Hokkaido, maybe with a friend. So that even if we get lost, we could still have fun.
