While that may be true, they still changed some basic things in the anime. The most glaring of things is what they did to Satella. In the manga she was a likable person, she was nice. In the anime they turned her into a total bitch. This is something that you can't blame on the manga not being done.

i only read the first chapter i didnt like it does it get better?

i only read volumn one but you guys are right manga is better than anime... but i love the anime... the movements of characters are magical... manga is sometimes stiff.. Razz

In the manga Satella was a likeable character and there was large room for development, the anime however left no room for ppl to think of her as anything but what she appeared to be..coldhearted bitch. Do you think that was a justified presentation of her?

By the way the group Mahora Manga (same one that does MSN) will be taking upon then the task of scanlating Chrno Crusade Very Happy

No clear sign as to when they take up the series, where they will release (irc or bittorrent) but they are gonna do it so look forward to it yay!

yeah, the manga is a lot of fun. and i totally agree with the satella thing. i hate her now. and, in the english version of the anime, they gaveher the WORST accent ever.

I love Chrno Crusade, i watched the entire anime, but the ending, (in my opinion) was disappointing and a bit sad, but overall it's a great anime to watch.

Yes, it is complete.
I think the manga is way better than the anime though. Especially about Satella.

My bad if reviving a very old thread is against the rules, but well, since I do not wish to create another thread regarding this manga, I will just recycle this thread =P

Well, I have bought all of the 8 volumes in my region and this manga has a really good storyline. Although some of them are really similar to the anime, but only after a certain length in the manga. After that, the story goes on differently.

And the ending is pretty much bitter and tragic, but really soothing: The real same expression that I felt when I watch the anime. The ending is completely different and the role of Rossette is also completely different than the anime, but they really deliver very nicely in the manga.

To make the story short, I really recommend this manga. There are tons of bloods and some gore, but really, this manga is just too good to be missed =)
