I haven't been on A-S since forever! But I'm really bored, because I have to wait 3 damn hours to get home with my paycheck at which time I am going to go buy a half ounce. So obviously all I can think about is the sticky icky. So I searched around A-S and didn't find ANY posts about weed at all so I had to make one. I'm hoping I will have some interesting posts to readwhen I come back blazed as hell.

Depends, I used to smoke a lot with friends, got older, started university got a real job... Now it's on occasion, but yes, always with friends. Smoking weed alone is like drinking alone... boring.

Yep, that happens sometimes with age. I dunno, I smoke more now that I have a job because I can afford it. And smoking by yourself is great. Put on some nice music, lay back and relax.

Good taste. If it's what we Washingtonians call Quebec Yellow, than that's some mid grade hydro. My personal favorites are Cinderella 99 (Mostly from Portland) Green Crack (Also from Portland) and Pineapple dog shit, which, unlike it's name, is incredibly delicious. I do like Canadian weed, but it tends to be outdoor grown, which isn't bad, but is not quite up there with hydro. My buddy Kanook always hooks me up with really piney outdoor Humblebud, from Canada.

Hey, all, hope you guys are having a good holiday season!
The last time I smoked some bud I got a bad high and haven't touched it since. That was about a good 9-10 months ago, at least. Sometimes I get a craving for it but I've lost contact with just about everyone I did it with and I don't like to do it alone.
As for a preference, I like using a bowl/pipe and, even though I've only had it once, I love Chocolate Thai. I'd hump someone's leg if they offered it to me .. I don't really like Haze or Hydro as they tend to be a little too potent for my casual smoker lungs. Although a lot of my most fond smoking memories was when I was smoking Haze...
Lucky Canadian bastard! I feel so jealous! I live in washington, right on the border of Canada. It's like being just out of reach of the candy jar. Out of curiosity, how much does an ounce of high cronic/hydro cost up there?
Last time I bought, it was under 10 $ / g. Some kids will try and sell it for more but meh, just deal with the guy. As for an ounce, which I beleive is 28 g... I never bought that much myself.
If you're in the state of washington, you can indeed find tons of it in BC, just go to the Okanagan's Vally for never ending supplies. At least according to legend. Here, in the east... you can take a walk in corn fields and find some pretty easily... just don't get caught

Wow that's not to far from our prices actually. about 280 an ounce, mabey cheaper if you get mid cronic.

What, do you mean blunts or joints? Pipes conserve weed so much better. I can get twice as high if I smoke from a pipe/bong instead of a joint or blunt. Nothing better than a good Sherlock to draw like a pencil.

Yeah BC herb is good, we get tons of it in Washington. However I wouldn't say it's the best. Most BC weed is outdoor grown, and while it has a delicious Piney taste, I get a little higher on other stuff. That's not to say there isn't good hydro in canada. I love Humble Bud from BC, it's great stuff. My favorite stuff comes from California or Portland. Green Crack, Purple Haze (not the cheap organic version), Afgan Goo, Pinapple Dogshit and Cinderella 99 to name some of the best. However, even I have to admit that the best weed dosen't come from America or Canada. Amsterdam is still the king.

Mid grade hydro is very, VERY potent. High grade hydro is beyond belief. I only classify weed as high grade hydro if is chemically treated and is a genetically enhanced strain, which Quebec Gold isn't. Don't get me wrong, ANY kind of hydro is great. I quite often just smoke outdoor stuff since it is cheaper and more readily avalible.
