I could make out some'a it... fully translating the thing'd take way more time than I have atm.
Looks like they're still in the planning stage. Think it says that they're releasing a CD with the new opening and ending themes at the end of January. Couldn't find a release date for the series, though.
Kind'a cool that they're gettin' around to doin' the TV series, though! Just hope they somewhat stick to the manga. |

There was actually and article about it in one of the latest Newtype USAs. I think it was in early December. Anyway, from the looks of it, the initial styling looks like it was taken from somwhere in the middle of the manga series. The screens of the first episode (which was the only complete one at the time of the publication) looked absolutely fantastic. I can't wait for it to be fansubbed! _________________ If you see the fork in the road, take it.

I translated the description of episode 1 using Altavista's BabelFish, and it sounds like the beginning of the whole series, where Keiichi makes that fateful phone call.
I believe that the anime TV series is going to start from the beginning and show the whole series. However, that will take much more than one full season to do.
Will this be the start of a long multi-season series? I certainly hope so!
Ah Megami-Sama! certainingly deserves a long series. |

| Just watched the first episode and i'm quite impressed, the music was good, the animation was good and fluid and the voice acting was quite well done. I'm looking forward for more from this new series. |

| I reread the Newtype article... It's a remake (ie from the beginning of the story). The intent is apparently to stay pretty close to the manga. Newtype quotes the director (Hiroaki Goda - he also directed the original OVAs and the movie) as saying "the show will progress slowly and in order, starting from the first chapter of the manga". |

The movie and the OVA's been out there for so long that I'm surprised that someone found a torrent link even for the movie.
Don't watch the OVA's... like someone said.. it's a waste
On the other hand DO watch the movie... but if I was you I'd watch it after or during the late stages of the TV series have developed... that way you'd understand it better. It should be like watching star wars from episode I through 6 in order.
The movie is widely available in the US already. I'm sure you can rent it in the local video store or buy it.
As for the TV torrent, I usually go to
