Ah My Goddess TV Series in 2005

I don't know if this question was asked or maybe it's been asked a million times, but does anyone know if a second season is coming out? I absolutely loved the first season and downloaded the movie but it was in terrible quality.

I'll be nice and answer again. I feel that sarcasm just doesn't teach the masses anymore...

The second season comes out in the Spring of 2006. You can confirm this with a link that I provided in my last post. So for now, enjoy the first season, OVA's and movie and prepare for some second season goodness come April. =)

alrite!!! i'm glad. i can't believe somebody actually answered the question. anyways it's great their coming out with a 2nd season.

I actually thank God for allowing the guys who created this anime be smart and make a second season. Also, I was surprised when I read that there are two more episodes with Skuld. Well although I can't complain, she looks REALLY good. :D

I'm wondering when the fansub will come out. The DVD with eps 25 & 26 have been out for 1.5 weeks... I can hardly wait ^_^

Wow! That'll be fantastic, because I can't wait to see why little Skuld became a grow up, while Urd became young ^^. As for the second season, I started counting the days 'till April XD. There is a lot of Anime to make with all the manga there is, I wonder if after the Season 2, there will be a 3rd one. The Manga is long, so it'll be kinda short if they put it all in 2 seasons, don't you think? Confused

AMG Episodes 25-26

Unfortunately, they are in RAW format as of now. I don't quite understand Japanese myself, but I can usually get the gist of what's happening. Being an impatient person these days, I find that I can tide myself over with RAWs before the a subtitling group gets to work on it. Just to let you know though, 25 and 26 are released on the net.

Wow. Episodes 25 and 26 are definitely a step up in production value. There's something else I noticed when watching the RAW's. Without all the subtitles to pay attention to, I noticed all the scenery in these extra episodes. As normal as these settings are (playground, beach, city sidewalks), they are quite beautiful to look at. Character designs also seem to take a step up as well. Everyone just looks amazing from Belldandy and her sisters to Megumi and the rest of the Auto Club. Finally, I began to actually listen to the background music. The ocarina found in episode 25 reminded me of the music found in Chrono Cross. Here's what I was able to understand from the RAW's.

Episode 25 Synopsis:
Urd has appearantly turned into a kid. I'm guessing this is either divine punishment for the whole Lord of Terror debacle, or there is something wrong with the system in Yggdrasil again. That doesn't stop Urd from having fun though. She meets this loner of a boy while at the playground. She then begins to show this boy around and begins to play games with him. The whole interchange between the two was quite fun to watch, even if I wasn't exactly sure of what they were saying. We also get to see chibi Belldandy, which is the cutest thing in the world to see.

Episode 26 Synopsis:
After Urd gets over her little child spell, Skuld gets some sort of spell of her own. Skuld turns into an adult and comes with the complete package: taller, curves, longer hair, and larger breasts. This being her dream, Skuld gets overexcited and begins taking advantage of her newfound growth. Unfortunately, it leads her into a compromising situation, which becomes Keiichi's cue to come and save her. Consequently, Skuld begins developing feelings for Keiichi and the episode basically takes us on a trip through her feelings.

Just kidding! Morisato still has the hots for Belldandy as seen here. =P

To wrap this post up, I thoroughly enjoyed these two OVA's. Great animation, decent development of both Urd and Skuld, and it's just great to watch Ah! My Goddess again. I'm definitely looking foward to second season.
