Ah My Goddess TV Series in 2005

i'v had the movie for a long time, i had originally acedentally downloaded it from some random site and burned it to cd b/c i liked it so much, but some one said something about a old tv series and i was wondering if A, it was true, and B if i could get a hold of a copy anywhere.. but all my usual anime search places are in vain...

EDIT: yeah i went looking for the anime awhile ago and for some reason i was thinking AH! My goddess and AH! megami-sama were two compleatly seperate anime with similar names... then just a moment ago it hit me that megami-sama is goddess in japanese.. man.. i feel stupid..

I'll have to check out the movie some time. I think I watched the OVA a while back (5 episodes?), but don't remember it too well. I read a ton of the manga, though. Definately worth the read.

Several people have mentioned watching the first episode. Has it already aired in Japan?

I thought this anime has already been made to TV series. So it was just an OVA, eh. Well, if it starts from the first chapter, maybe I'm not too interested.

I wouldn't mind seeing what they'll do with a TV series, since they hardly had time to include much of the manga in the OVA. Finally, we get to see Mara in more than just the opening credits ^.^

I heard here that its not worth watching the OVA but I did anyway lol and the movie. And I just watched the first episode and feel like I never seen the ova or the movie lol but the series looks promising. But if you really want to see the OVA I dl it here along with the movie

Well I've seen both OVA and movie and thought that both were very nice. Watched the TV one and i also liked it too, ijust wondering how long they'll be able to make this series becuase theres already an ending (from ova)

Well i like that the series will be longer and basically given a overhaul. because i love the plot. i was dissapionted how short the original was.

Found the first two episodes under AonE at the a.scarywater.net site. It's been a while since I read the manga, but this seems pretty accurate. There seems to be something wrong with Belldandy's face, though, and I can't quite put my finger on it.
