Do you sit through anime OP and ED?

I know most of my friends don't sit through OP and ED, nor do they care about episode preview. I generally watch OP and ED at least three or four times: once for all the animation during the songs, once for the Japanese lyrics, and once for the subbed lyrics. Then if I like the songs, I keep watching them. I always watch episode preview too, even though I find them extremely uninformative about next episode. I figure--hell, I just wasted 25 minutes. What's 10 more seconds? One thing for sure though, I always watch the entire episode (OP,ED and all) for the last couple of episodes. I don't know why..I just feel like that makes it more complete.

Then there are some OP/ED/extras that stand out from the rest. You know, the ones like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu where the ED become so damn popular, people were raving about it and dancing to the song in the streets and TV shows. I also like the previews where there are some actual dialog going on, like say, Lucky Star. It adds some life to an otherwise waste of 15 seconds.

I picked "Depending on my mood", but the real bit is "depending on whether the opening and endings are GOOD or not". I liked the Dance Routine for Melancholy, and I liked the "second" ending theme to Speed Grapher, so I'd watch/listen to them. If the theme is lame though, I'll skip it.

I thought of some other favorites: the Ergo Proxy opener, Eva, Gunslinger Girls, Ghost in the Shell SAC, Speed Grapher Duran Duran opener (which isn't there on the licensed version), and the Air opener (althought the ending theme song for Air is even better; very nice song!). I'd listen to these quite often.

Nope ... I generally watch them once or twice then I skip to the show ..

Unless its a REALLY GOOD OP/ED song ^^

As I think most others would answer, it depends completely on fact if the OP/ED is good/mood setting or not. ^.^;

As en example, I can say that while I skipped OP almost every time during the first half of Fate/Stay Night, I'd watch it every single time once the second OP started. ^_^

In the other pile, we have the OP for Samurai Champloo, Which I found to be so bad that I'd sometimes play it just to tease my friends... '>.>

i think most of the anime i've watched had really cool opening which i kept listening to XD

but one piece.. right now has a long opening... 2minutes something...

Depends if i like the op/ed if i do i'll watch for a couple of episodes. I usually skip the ed and go straight to the episode preview.

Actually I don't watch them except once then later I watch them if I was interested in something specific.

Watching them in each episode is a waste of time for me.
Although I don't watch some animes if I was forced to watch it. Like Scryed -___- my sis forced me to watch it.

to be honest, I don't read the subtitles of the song( Op/En )for some animes...

I don't really watch anime endings.

I watch anime openings if I like the song, but most of the times I watch the openings once a day.
