Just watched ep1 !!! Only the first ep but its cliff hangers after cliff hangers ! Very Happy

Suspense throughout the show.

And yeah, the scenes are very much like the season1 ep1 BUT theres an upgrade in the animation for the "Geass-effect" and the element of drama are simply captivating and emotionally powerful.
the scene when he regained his memory was a killer !
very similar to how Light Yagami regained his memory, BUT is of different style and aura
And, no, I dont think Suzaku is being controlled.
We can see the change in his attitude since the last ep of season1.
Its more of his resolve to kill Lelouch. Also, C.C said that Geass give diff people diff powers. Since Lelouch is the one with the "control" power, dont think the Emperor has the "control" power.Its more of Suzaku willingly doing it.
(but damn it I wish he really dies. At least grant me the wish to see Suzaku killed off. please CLAMP...please... ... kill off that bugger...at the last episode at least...)

The episode begins with plenty of confusion for me, but as the ep progress and ends,generally all the "mysteries" are raveled and answered , except for several qns that still confound me :
1.) where the heck is Nunnaly ?!
2.) Rolly ?! WTH ?! who...or rather how ?! Shocked

and why ?!

Then again, its just ep1 ... ...so yeah... ...patience Very Happy

As for Kallen... I shant comment on her
ah, how nice, fanservice right in the beginning of the series---and whats more a bunny girl !!! But I think I prefer C.C in her black costume in the Opening Theme. XD

All in all, R2 is certainly worth the wait. Gotta be the most high end show of the year.

i dont think Clamp has much say who lives and who dies in Code Geass, last i remember they only did the character designs.

well yeah, suzaku is a really effective character, but yes i hope he does die(eventually).. i definitely dont want another shin asuka(at least not one alive in the end).

So... Gundam 00's UN Forces now use Britannian Knightmares (the lance...) and Britannia in Code Geass copies the Celestial Being Gundams (Mecha with Hair... Mecha with shoulder gun... Mecha with 2 handed gun in the front... Fighter/Mecha). And Lelouchs new goal is to destroy and recreate the world? Wow! Sounds strangely familiar...

I don't know how much I've been waiting to watch season 2 of Code Geass.
I was going through some torrent sites last night and I found out by accident that it had been released, downloaded at the same time but I had internet problems and it took a while to download.

I watched it this morning before class and loved every bit of it !
Like some mentioned, animation has been enhanced a bit.

I was a little lost about the beggining since like most (I think) I thought it was going to keep up where season 1 left, but by accident I read a post abut the show I already knew that, but no harm done.

I was kinda sad in the beginning of the show for the fact that he was or
1. Letting go of being Zero, or
2. Had lost his memory

But by the end of the episodes when he meets C.C. and give the britanian soldiers the same order he gave in the first ep. of the series I knew he was back Very Happy

By the way, I loved the fact that Eclipse Fansubs released an 1280x720 version, awesome image quality.
