Viletta also seems strange being a teacher and showing no signs(as of yet) of animosity... have to wonder what has been happening during the 1 year period of zero's death. was the setup really made just to lure CC out. and was viletta assigned to teach at the school to look after/monitor lelouch. and lulu's "brother" is he another half-sibling(their eyes are the same color), and/or is he also "in" on the plan or unknowingly planted as well -tho going by the OP he looks to be a pilot for a knightmare frame himself.

also viletta seemed to have lost a few pounds... since the last time.. or is it just me.. o_O,,, would be interesting tho if she had a child with ohgi.. could explain a few things.

OP implies the emperor has geass.. it is shown in his right eye. this is a bit early for an assumption, but i wonder if the emperor himself brainwashed lelouch with his power of geass.

lelouch had his head filled with false memories until CC kissed him.
It stands to reason a geass or VV or CC did that to him.

Kinda of odd that stuff like Perma Geass can be shut down this way, so I'm gonna assume VV or Emporer has this ability or someone else or she would have used it on Mao?

So VV teleported around and re-wrote everyone's memories? Leastwise Lelouch and Villeta's and Shirley's.... But not Kallen's.

Or maybe CC fixed Kallen in a similiar fashion.

On Villette:

She's working as a teacher undercover to try and find Zero. Whcih means that Britania heavily suspect that Zero attends that school. This also means everyone either lost their memories about Lelouch being Zero, or something happened to fully exonerate him.

In a way I was kinda disappointed with the first episode; was really hoping they woulnd't go with an amnesia explanation. Also I'm so glad Eclipse picked this up. Love their work.

i was expecting more direct connection with the last ep of the first season so i was taken aback with the way the first ep played out. if i didn't have that expectation, i'd probably have enjoyed it more, but overall, it's still a good ep.

i don't share the same disappointment with the amnesia approach because knowing code geass, they've got something l33t planned. can't wait for the next 2 or so eps to fill in the gaps; they've got my attention.

i dun know why i find cc so super-hot (ok so i do have a wee few points as to why).

those costume designs are so good![/spoiler]

finally some questions answered on ep2! the emperor has "full geass" Shocked

.. and just as i suspected, he was the one who brainwashed lelouch.

Rollo was a knightmare pilot as well.. i wonder now if he is part of the "knight of rounds".. am suspecting him as another one of lulu's half siblings. perhaps one of the better candidates, hence he has his own geass.. as to what its power is, i think it has something to do with how his knightmare seems to "teleport", coz it really seems to have abnormally godly speed.

lol love how Diethhard burst with joy upon seeing zero alive. and Einstein's displeased face hehe.

looks like there will finally be a real angle between lulu and karen, tho she's categorizing Zero from Lelouch as different matters, all the things built up on the first season are definitely coming to a head. i think in order for them to finish this within 25 eps they cant slack with the story from the start, each ep is sure to be interesting.

next ep preview definitely needs explanation... lelouch just goes back to school? ok i sorta expected that to happen but i wonder why Viletta is still keeping shut.. unless she's working for another person/group or she had another amnesia. knowing lulu has become zero again.. gotta wonder what she's up to.. hmm, im gonna guess theres another power player in the scenario here, aside from the chinese fed, looks like there are other factions within brittania itself. i really wonder if Rollo was brainwashed as well(or maybe has split persona?).. maybe lulu will try to recruit him or something in the future. he definitely needs new recruits since the emperor has suzaku and the Rounds while he only has Karen as his knight while most of the former black knights' ace's are under Brittanias custody.

ya crazy eps i saw it coming about his dad having geass and brainwashing him, its either him or rollo. i even saw rollo having geass Very Happy

and of coures working for lelouchs' dad. But i didnt know suzaku turn really cold hearted and sold lelouch lol. It appears that einstein is working with the military now, probably recuited by Lloyd, and smart moved that zero used geasses on that chinese leader

Thoughts on Episode 2
Like the posts above mentioned, a lot of answers. But what I really liked to see in this episode was not only the answers but the fact the Zero is back and he's not wasting time. He just came back, killed the governor and created the United States of Japan.

Also, the way he manages to escape the building is and kill everyone in a single blow is awesome !

NIPPON BANZAI !
