The action was too fast for me. I had to pause and play everytime at the fighting scenes Laughing

lol I know what you're talking about. sometimes they just made the movements a blur and I would be like *shakes head* what the what just happened.. but man you just can't deny how hot Tifa is in that movie hahaha. I was expecting more from Red XIII he only had what, two lines the entire movie -__- and cait sith was kinda stupid, just sitting on Red the whole time. A lot of themes were in that film it was gooooood stuff, the most noticeable one being the wolf of course.

heh yea, it was more concentrated on cloud and the three new guys. They had nothing much about the others

very good fighting scenes but the story could have been better...

I thought that the way the others characters were used sparingly built up impact for the Bahamut battle when we saw them all work as a team. In my mind that scene (till the death of the summon) was the best moment of the film.

meh... the movie had no substance.. It was pure eye candy with amazingly exagerated action sequences. Just another product of an overrated fanchise.

but hey, as long as it looks pretty...right?

altough i enjoyed the movie like the rest of u guys
i agree with some of the ppl here that the storyline could have been better
but i guess thats for a lot of the stuff i've watched. The fight scene with the summon was pretty good and so wuz the one in the chapel with tifa. I was still hopin that aerith would've played a more active rile in the movie though. lol

I regret I didn't play FFVII before I saw the movie...cuz I thought the story sucked...the fighting scenes were cool...although...they were a bit fast for me...

To understand the plot of the story, you need to play the game. The plot is pretty deep, I have even seen a whole site dedicated to analysing the plot.

As to the anime, it could have been better, but I am happy with what they had created.
