For canada... not being certain but i was told sometime in the spring... March 14th is the release date in america... then i might see it being sold in early april... or last days of march...

I fear that ff:ac will be too action oriented and it will lack good story.

Nah, it's by Square-Enix. They always make cool stories. I guess we'll have to actually watch it to know. Anyway, throught my experience with square-enix (or squaresoft... ahh the old days...), they've always come to surprize their viewers.

I work at an EB Games.
This movie is the bane of my goddamn existance. You wouldn't beleive how many retards walk in asking me about a release date for a movie on dvd that isn't even released in JAPAN YET.

honestly.

But I am excited to see how this one turns out. Really though, everyone should really lower their expectations. it's almost statisically impossible square-enix will be able to pump out the movie that is good enough for the hype of 2 or so years.

If we just take it as is, I'm sure it'll kick ass.

And yes, to agree with everyone else. The world didn't collapse at the end.

If not mistaken, the FF7 ending was all the humans gave their life to summon lifestream in order to block Meteor, hoping the world would stay and one day human will rise again through evolution process. I don't quite understand how they can continue the story in FF7 AC. Even Sephiroth is still alive?
