| I feel this movie is much better than the one that the US made. At least it actually follows the real Final Fantasy world. Although I agree the story is a bit weak, but all game made into movies are a bit weak. I'm getting sick of all these stupid games made into movies. But Advent Children is pretty good. I guess since they made it a bit of a continuation and a side story of the original Final Fantasy VII. |

Advent Children rocks, a good story cosidering that you had to play the game before you saw the movie to understand it. An FF8 movie would rock, but the only thing they would have to actually base it off of would be the story from the game which would still be cool.

| the movie was awesome no doubt about it , i should finish ff7 to actually understand the whole thing but still good and yes they should make a ff8 movie on so on for the game fans |

Actually, no they shouldn't. FF8 never attained the lasting appeal that FF7 has earned. As for any Final Fantasies deserving of movie treatment, I would say Final Fantasy 3/6 deserves it. Actually, all Final Fantasies would do better if they were to come in anime/manga format (i.e. Kingdom Hearts).
However, if ANY Square game deserved post production treatment, it's Chrono Trigger. I believe that would do ESPECIALLY well as an anime series (character designs are done by Akira Toriyama). It consists of a grand epic story that isn't too long. It can be told within a 26 episode format without sacrificing too much of the storyline. Plus, all the main characters themselves kick ass. Crono, Frog, Marle and Magus own just about every Final Fantasy character created (Take that FF junkies!!!). |

I agree 200%! Chrono Trigger is possibly the best game i've ever played next to FF7. The characters are awesome and the plot is amazing. Chrono is awesome but i think my favorite was Magus. (he's kind of like Vincent)
Those who are questioning FF7 Advent Children, I wonder if they've ever even played the game. I think the only way to really appreciate the story and the movie itself will be those who actually spent the time playing it and really getting to know the characters and why things that happen is for a reason. |

i seen the movie and ahhh its ok ..........im kiddin tat movie was great!!!!
wat i dont get is how cloud is all badass and strong on this but in the game hes a weakling compared with sephiroth
ahh maybe its because i didnt develop him all the way |
