this is atsuko from yuyu hakusho.

everybody is doing their winter picture, and i thought i would do mine, in the form of a contest entry. sometimes, when i'm in a slump, i can't refuse contests. i read the details of the damn thing and before i know it, i'm thinking of different things to draw. feck it.....it's fun.

please please crit and comment.

I think this is your best work so far, good job!
Though there are a few things that could be worked on. The shading on the lower half of the left leg doesn't seem quite right and the shoes look awkward. Also I noticed that the trousers don't have outlines unlike the rest of her body and aren't as detailed.

the trousers were outlined, but i put a little white on the sides of her legs to try to get her to look like she's laying IN the the snow and not on it, the lines got coverd up. i hope it doesn't take away from the picture at all.

XD ... i didn't even notice that she was laying IN the snow .... untill i read the few comments ... and i went back and looked ...

at first i was like ... "what's up w/ that bag!??! is it like just floating or what"

because i thought she was just walking, and i also thought the backround looked very strange as well ... but now it all makes sense Wink

I really like this pic ... more than many of your others ... i think because the eyes are quite as big as you do them a lot of the time ...
